The presentation was nice, however there was hair in my rice. I have braids so I know it is not mine. The restaurant could’ve been a lot cleaner I mean even the door was sticky to get inside which makes me wonder how the kitchen is kept. The food was okay, not good enough for me to return, but after the hair I had to throw majority away. I know this is a Haitian restaurant but maybe have at least one person who speaks English ?

Beautiful set up inside. They have a full menu of Caribbean cuisine with good Caribbean music playing. The nightlife hadn’t started yet. Crowds tend to arrive much later, I guess. They said people can pay to reserve this place for events, like parties. Definitely returning here.

Amazing restaurant. With amazing food. Last time I was there one of the owners gave me a tour of the whole restaurant. The decor, the vibe was on point. I was a professional chef for many years and have worked in a lot of kitchens. The kitchen was so clean and absolutely spotless. One of the cleanest restaurant kitchens I have ever seen. Being in the business myself, it’s good to see owners who take such pride in their restaurant.

So my experience at Express Carribean was remarkable. The place is clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed the Saturday soup (bouillon) and the marinade. Omg very tasty. I brought couple of friends and we had a blast while we were enjoying our griot and Tasso turkey. This is the place to go for lunch and dinner. But if you want some of that (soup)bouillon, you gotta come on Saturday for that. Thank you express for this experience.

We’ve never had Haitian food before so we asked for recommendations. Oh wow was it delicious! There weren’t many people there but we did show up at 10:30 pm. They weren’t too familiar with cocktails so stick to the buckets of beer. The food though was killer! A great introduction to Haitian food and I like it!

This is the worst restaurant ever. I’ve come here a few times and they have a big time problem. They’ll tell you that the food will be ready in 10 minutes. However you’ll be waiting for literally 50 minutes. I’m not exaggerating.
Now I find myself missing an appointment I had because of their timing. They always find an excuse like, there was no butter, or there was no flour left that’s why it took this long…
Very unprofessional at this place. That’s not how businesses are run. My gosh!!!
And all that folks is for a simple Tassot Cabrit and 2 Pâtés. It’s really unacceptable.
