Bought Egusi soup and they gave me soup without meat in it. When I first saw the takeaway soup, I asked them if they included meat in it and the front desk guy who gave me the soup said there is meat inside. On getting home, I realized there’s no meat in it. I called to let them know that they didn’t put any meat in my Egusi soup. The front desk guy was like oh sorry about that. After paying that much for soup, no meat. The soup doesn’t looks good too. Wasted my time and money. Do not go to this store

This place used to be my favorite place to eat some African food whenever I feel lazy to cook. But I don’t know what’s happening there the food is now HORRIBLE, NASTY idk if they change their chef but you need to do better or you’ll lose clients. I just wasted $60 I ordered some pondu you and ntaba it wasn’t well cook, especially the pondu you can taste that it raw. I’m so disappointed please do better.

My wife and I had an amazing experience. Mama Mary was the absolute sweetest, and the other staff made us feel so welcomed. It was our first time here, and the vibe was so nice. Very humble gem in the wall. My wife and i got the Simosas, Egusi,Oxtail, and Fufu. The wait was well worth it. Everything was amazing. Staff were very attentive to us and made us feel at home. They even asked us if we needed help understanding the Menu. And we got some complimentary simosas that were so crisp and so delicious. Those oxtails were so tender and had an amazing flavor and the hype is definitely real when they say fufu tastes Amazing. Yall have to try this Restaurant definitely call ahead for pickups because everything is freshly made. Hands down the best iver ever had! Cant wait to go Back! Highly recommended!

38.74 for fufu, egusi, and goat sauce. Egusi was good. But once I started eating my goat sauce, I see beef was put in instead of it all being goat. This upset me. I do not eat beef, the texture is rougher than goat, they do not taste the same either. I hope this can be resolved.

Ordered plantain. Waited over 20 min. still wasn’t ready. Lyft driver showed up and asked him to give me 5 min. unfortunately after 5 min. asked how much longer was told another 10 min. Half an hour for jus a small appetizer size of plantain? Sorry, I’ve already waited too long n even the Lyft driver was courteous enough. Took too long so had to politely inform the host to cancel order.

The food here is good. But they have overcharged me twice. I also ordered goat meat and they give me cow but charged me for goat meat. Also, every time we order, they take 2+ hours to make our food. Last time I came, they had me wait an extra hour in my car. Today I called in my order and they said 45 minutes. It wasn’t ready 2 hours later. Ridiculous. I will not be back.
