Okay, I love a great BBQ but not the avg or want to be BBQ! I read the reviews and was hesitant, but have been craving it for a hot minute. I must say that this was the BEST I have had EVER! the flavor is deep and rich, not smoke and shallow. The meats are moist (we got the chicken sandwich (with slaw) and the rib plate with potato salad and Mac n cheese. This stop is marked as a top stop so when I am here, we ARE STOPPING!

Oh yeah, the ribs fell off, the potato salad, perfect blend of the ingredients, Mac and cheese…very good, and….stop reading and get there!

Trust me when I say, STOP, ORDER, TAKE A BITE AND PAUSE TO ENJOY THE AMAZING FLAVORS FROM A PLACE THAT DOES IT RIGHT! Thank me later, right now, enjoy the food!

This gem is located off exit 87 on I40 across from the Loves…prime location. It has plenty of truck parking. Plus the entire interaction from ordering to getting my food was no more than 15min so you can be in and out. There is a lot on the menu. I ended up getting a brisket plate with an extra 1/2lb of brisket. The plate was about $17 and the extra brisket was another $14 or so. I wanted coleslaw for a side but I’m pretty picky about coleslaw so she let me try some and I got it for both sides. It was absolutely delicious. Somewhat similar to KFC coleslaw in taste. The brisket had a good smoky flavor and I added the spicy barbecue sauce which paired well with the sweet coleslaw. I will stop here every time I’m in the area…wonderful food and quick, friendly service!

Cold rainy day BUT everything was AWESOME here. I got the pulled pork plate with slaw and potatoe salad. It was a great price BIG portions and best of all the people working inside were helpful and friendly. I will DEFINITELY be back!!

Absolutely great pulled pork! Got the plate with 2 sides for $13.25. Baked beans and potato salad also delicious. Sauce really compliments the pork and the beans. Definitely worth the stop. Truck parking there and at Love’s! Sorry I forgot the tip but I’m in the area every week now and will double down next time!!!

I’m not from this area, I drive truck so not too many areas that provide parking. Been here twice, food is excellent, patrons were coming in steady but service was fast, staff was friendly, atmosphere is great, by tomorrow I will probably stop again before I leave Dobbs Peterbilt is a sponsor so a shout out to those great folks also. Nice people here! I ordered the pork BBQ plate with macaroni n cheese and potato salad. The salad was perfectly cold the way I enjoy it best, the macaroni was long noodles with a unique cheese sauce, and the pork was delicious and tender. They even gave me a bun to make my own sandwich. You HAVE to get the BBQ hot sauce! Such a great quick in and out spot for some food. I definitely look forward to my next stop in if I swing through! 🙂

I’m born and raised and from Texas, I know great barbecue. This place rocks. And they have truck parking that’s easy to get in and out of and laid out like somebody with a brain did it. I hope I come through here again and often, will be stopping here every time. Brisket plate with two sides came out to 17$ even and I tipped 5$ on top of that and honestly wish I could’ve tipped more. My singular only tiny complaint is the sauce, while pretty dang good, didn’t have any heat to it but I’m a big time spicy food guy so I mixed in some scorpion tabasco and it came out great.

Whoever put this place here is a saint.

Not St Louis style bbq, Sweet baby rays cause is good but not what’s advertised , baked beans were good but pulled pork had no flavor, Mac and cheese tasted old. Not sure when this tipping thing took off for carry out , asked if I’d like to leave a tip for carry out, nope

The service was quick as hell. This is a nice little barbecue area. There’s outside seating in a truck parking lot. The barbecue ribs is fall off the bone delicious I got some pulled pork that was also nice juicy and tender. My only complaint would be not enough sauce. I got three ramekins of sauce that were all half full. The sauce is good though not too spicy and just enough kick. Potato salad is nice but the barbecue chicken is just grilled chicken breast. I thought it was actual bird. The ribs are the star of this barbecue spot. They were also out of mac & cheese when I got there so that must sell out pretty quickly. If it was born in chicken and gave me mac & cheese and full ramekins of sauce, I’ll give it a five star.
