Just left this restaurant. I’d like to start this review by stating that we are locals, so this opinion is in realistic comparison to other restaurants in the area.
1. I’d suggest the hostess needs some training. We walked in, she somewhat reluctantly agreed to seat us under a stipulation that we’ll be out by 8pm. She asked if we were local, which seemed to influence her desire to seat us. All of that is disrespectful, in my opinion. If you’re too busy, don’t seat us. But do not put a ticker on the time we have to eat and factor where we live into the decision. BYW, the dining room was 1/2 empty by the time me sat down… what’s the hype?;
2. The waitress did not introduce herself. Her name is still a mystery to me. Never have this ever happened to us.
3. The food: we god baked crab cakes, bacon wrapped scallops app, and fried calamari app. The scallops were the bomb! So good!!!! Very much recommended. The crab cakes were soopy, would not hold together, but tasted good. Consistency was off for sure, but the portion was generous, so I’m neither here nor there on this one. The fried calamari was not crispy at all. The breading was very very light, almost non-existent, and the squid was very lightly cooked, almost creamy. That’s not the way I personally like it. The marinara sauce was unfortunately tasteless and contained a hair. I didn’t hold it against them, it happens, but… the portion was very generous tho, so I’m neither here nor there on that one either.
Overall we were not impressed. With so many amazing seafood restaurants in the area, these common staples did not impress us here. But I’ll probably come back just to get a better grip on the place. I’m 50/50 right now

Just ordered pickup for the first time and it was AMAZING!!!! Fried clam strips are the best I’ve ever had. The broiled seafood combo was phenomenal!!!! All of the seafood was perfectly cooked. Fish was the freshest I’ve had since moving down here. We met the owner Gary as we stopped into pick up our meal and he was just as friendly as I’d hoped. GARY YOU AND YOUR STAFF MADE OUR NIGHT! Easily the best restaurant in town! My new favorite!

Just like another person described, was thinking about going to mud city. When we saw the wait, we decided to check out this place. All I can say is, very well worth it. No wait, cozy easy going place and very friendly. My father came here 1 time last year, and they remembered him. He loves seafood, and this is his new favorite spot. Understanding the size, they have a nice variety on the menu. The chef recommended the Snapper stuffed with crab meat, and I can say I can normally eat a good amount, and this got me stuffed beyond. The waitress asked a few times if I was done, and I just had to shoo her away, cause I just wanted to savor every bite, and take my time. Definitely would recommend to anyone. Can easily find myself a regular there. And try the Caribbean calamari, will definitely smack your taste buds, from any other you’ve tried, excellent.

Just spent on week on LBI and went here for my last night. The food was AMAZING!!!!! I was excited about the buffalo calamari on the menu before I showed up for dinner and it definitely did not disappoint. I had the crab cakes for dinner and they were outrageously good. Every plate at our table (there were 7 of us) was spectacular. Definitely a place you need to check out!

First time eating here .
Absolutely excellent food and service. Erik was very attentive and had a fantastic attitude. Wait wasn’t too long , and it’s much better than waiting 1:30+ at other restaurants. The food here was better than the other restaurants I would be waiting 1:30+ for , and the service really brings it all together.
I had the crab cakes over linguini- amazing , and we also had the Boston clam chowder, and the ahi tuna appetizer. Everything was cooked to perfection and had perfect flavors.
Will definitely be back, time and time again.

All food taste bitter. Salty no taste of seafood at all!!! one sauce for all dishes wrong dish! bad service. Great for drunkard. To Ovoid I don’t recommend they cook everything with alcohol. Wine vodka …… Brrrrr bad experience I don’t recommend. Service is worse. I will never go again. One star is too much.

The food was awesome! Our waitress was incredible too, she was clearly very experienced; overhearing the other waitresses, they too were amazing! We plan on making the Seafood Corner a regular restaurant of choice.

Everything was very good overall, with very fresh ingredients. Only thing was the lobster was a little overcooked, but you could tell that was not the norm with how well everything else for our party of 5 came out. I’ll certainly return here again in the future.
FYI they don’t take reservations on Saturdays

Sunday 2 for 1 is a great deal. We went in for soup and stayed for the entrees. Broiled seafood was a little overcooked but the crab cakes were outstanding. Definitely going back for more.
