I have been to 3 other Evviva’s (Marlboro, Westford, Stoneham) and today at Maynard. Like other locations, the service and food is always delicious. Ordered the Fried Ravioli (comes with 6 Crispy Deano’s Cheese Ravioli, Creamy Calabrian Pepper Sauce) and Calamari Fritti (1/2 Pound Of Crispy Calamari, Cherry Peppers, Lemon, Creamy Romesco). Mixed and matched the sauces (also shown is the oil for the rolls – a hidden gem that they don’t advertise).

Evviva Trattoria in Maynard has a genuinely lovely atmosphere — warm, rustic, and authentically Italian in feel, the kind of space that puts you in the mood for a great trattoria meal. The setting is easily the highlight of the visit. The food and service, however, both fall in average territory and don’t quite live up to the charm of the surroundings. The Italian dishes are pleasant but lack the depth and authenticity you’d hope for, and the service could be more attentive. With improvements in both areas, Evviva could be a true local gem.

I hate writing negative reviews, but the pizza we got was so bad, I couldn’t hold back. I ordered takeout pizza for the Super Bowl, and I arrived about 15 mins early prior to the scheduled pickup time. The staff was very kind and professional, letting me know that the pizza was not yet put in the oven. To me this was a good sign, it’ll be fresher, no complaints.
I ordered two pizzas, one custom (goat cheese, prosciutto, diced tomato, red onion and green pepper) and one normal pepperoni pizza. First off, the custom pizza was missing the prosciutto, which I paid for (they charge you per topping), and then instead of diced tomatoes, they gave us large thick cut slices (not the end of the world, but not what we ordered). Also, the pizza was criminally undercooked, the dough was borderline raw in the center of the pizza. I gave up eating the pizza whatsoever after seeing how raw the dough actually was.
It was about $45 for these two pizzas, and tax and tip brought me over $50, which is a high price to pay for pizza. I’m usually okay with paying extra if the food is good, but in no stretch of the imagination was this food worth it, and that’ll be my last time ordering it. Again, the staff was very kind, and the restaurant was clean when I briefly visited.

Amazing food. Great service overall. Pretty slow bar. After a wait, I walked to the bathroom and tried to stop at the bar but the bartender was nowhere in sight, the manager made the drinks and was very apologetic and sweet when she brought them over.

Very nice restaurant, took my wife for dinner. Our server Meg was great, the food was awesome and the prices were very reasonable. The Risotto texture was a little mushy, it tasted great it was just a texture observation. I would skip the sausage, it tasted fine I just didn’t think it was a value.
The salmon was cooked to perfection
The Raviolis were more filling than expected, plenty of left overs, and they tasted out of this world!

We love Evviva! Scratch kitchen, family recipes, generous parking and portions – it’s the full package. For lunch the Bento Box is not to be missed. What a deal for $18! Mozzarella made fresh and pasta imported from Italy. I think what I love the most is that there are plenty of lighter dishes- the chicken parm and lasagna are great- but if you don’t want to go heavy there’s lots of vegan and fish options too. Plus, most of the menu they can do gluten-free…amazing for Italian! I’ll definitely be back!

Stopped in here for a weeknight dinner and it was what I would expect from a chain like Evviva; decent portion sizes, reliably good tasting dishes, hit or miss service. For most items on the menu the prices are way too high for what you’re getting. My partner got the seafood risotto with the smallest scallops I have ever seen. We also were never asked whether we wanted small or large portions (of food or the drinks) and were surprised to see our server decided on the larger size of everything for us.

Food was OK. Nothing special about it. I had Shrimp scampi, but it was actually butter scampi. A lot of butter, I couldn’t eat half of it. The hand towel provided in table was very stinky, I would refrain from using it again if I go there. The service was good. I went for Monday lunch and there was hardly any crowd there. There was lot of room to improve the food and ambience more appealing.
