Oh my word, this place is amazing! It has lots of rustic, Old Town charm with excellent country cooking, large portions, and great flavor. The sweet iced tea is fantastic—it’s hard to find tea like this these days. Service is quick, and the servers are sweet and on the ball. Prices are very reasonable. America needs more places like this!

Stopped tonight and ordered fried chicken and fried pork chops. Server told us you get two breasts and two dark meat. Order came out with one breast, two legs and a thigh. However, chicken and chops were not just way overdone, but charred burnt. No way server or cook could not have noticed. Biscuits and corn bread was not just cold, but stale. Obviously leftover from previous day(s). Server never came to check on us to see if our food was to our liking or to refill drinks. I think she knew it was subpar food.

I wish I had found this place sooner! It was SOOOO good! Home cooking in a great atmosphere with friendly service! I had a cheeseburger with fries, field peas and banana pudding. One of the best cheeseburgers I’ve ever had! Juicy, with fresh veggies! I will definitely be back!

If you’re looking for some good southern cooking made with love, this is the place. Great service, amazing food, and a resturant that gives you the small town feel like everyone knows each other, and good southern hospitality. I wish I lived near by because id eat here daily. Highly recommend. This was the best meal I’ve had in so long.

Old-fashioned diner atmosphere, friendly service, and DELICIOUS burgers. We sat at the counter and enjoyed a few entertaining stories from one of the owners. One of the regulars who’s been going there for 20+ years works at McDonalds but prefers to get her burgers from this place.

This place used to be great, but it is terrible now. Most recent meal there, we ordered a plate of fried chicken and a plate of fried pork chops. Both meals came to the table burned so black that the server never should have left the kitchen with them. It was actually nervy to bring it to the table as burned as it was. Then they ignored us for the rest of the time we were there. Avoid this place.

I have passed by this place so many times going to the bike trail near by and have always wanted to stop in. Now that we only live 10 miles from the restaurant, we stopped in on a Saturday morning. I was so mad at myself it took me so long to visit. We loved the atmosphere, the staff, the customers and the food! We sat at the bar and talked to some of the regulars which have been coming in for years. They showed some of the pictures on the wall and told stories about the people in the pictures. It was a fantastic experience and we will be making this a regular weekend breakfast spot.

Best place to stop on our bike ride on the rail to trail path. The food was delicious as always, this is our go to place whenever we ride the Jax-Baldwin Trail. It’s a small, cozy, friendly place with great home cooking.

you know you’re in the right place if the locals are dining there! It’s true what they say about Florida, north is definitely more southern than south! My Roast beef, mash and gravy…classic diner food and freshed brewed iced tea.. the other side was fried ribs.. had a nice chat with and old veteran, thank him for his service.
