Food was dry, I went at 3 pm so I guess they were about to switch to dinner. Looks like they have a lot of dishes but unfortunately I couldn’t enjoy the food. The building is in need of bid renovations, specially the restrooms, just a couple of waitresses but this is a buffet so dont expect great customer service, I will try again at lunch or late at dinner and see If I have better luck. I was impress for the tunas (mexican fruit), never seen that before in a buffet.

Evergreen Super Buffet used to be a great spot for Chinese buffet. After my most recent visit, though, I have to change my rating from 4 stars to 1. The food was not good today. Everything was very bland, from basics like rice and noodles to spicy dishes like garlic shrimp. Even the fried food was boring and undistinctive. How do you screw up fried chicken wings? The wait staff is still super polite and the prices are fair. But no one visits a buffet for that – you go for the food! If the food is awful, the price and the atmosphere matter not. Evergreen.. try harder please!

There was a cricket in my husband’s plate. We told the waitress and he went to tell the manager. We were there watching them talk and waiting for the manager to go to us and at least apologize or something but we waited and waited and nothing happened so it was getting late and I told my husband we needed to go. We went up to him and told him we were leaving and he told us we needed to pay, I told him politely that I didn’t think it was right for us to pay for what had happened and he told us to pay or he was calling the police and I got mad at him I couldn’t believe he was being so rude after I made sure no one heard me when I told them about what had happened to not ruin anything. Well we had to pay and after we paid he told us to never come back again. I was thinking, who would want to go back after that but okay. It was gross. He also said it was normal because those crickets come in the mushrooms and Jalapeños..no they don’t! He didn’t even change the food so I felt bad for all the people that were going to eat it. That manager or whoever he was doesn’t care about his customers or the restaurant. I know that can happen at any restaurant but at least do something make your customers feel a little better or something come on. I used to love going there all the time. 🙁

The outside appearance isn’t very eye catching. The lights inside are very dim and the food isn’t as good as I hoped. I would say that the service was ok but the restrooms were awful. There was water all over the floor, the toilets were dirty, it smelled. It seemed like no one had cleaned it for a long time. I came with one other person and our total came out to be $33.54….. that’s very expensive compared to Golden Corral right next door which would have probably had better restrooms and service. I wouldn’t go back…

We arrived at 8:30, after checking the hours online and seeing that they are open until 9:30. As soon as we were seated and brought our drinks we were told that they were about to close, 50 minutes before the posted time. At 9:10 they told us if we wanted anything else to go get it now, and at 9:15 they began throwing out all of the food and made it clear that we needed to leave.
Having both worked food service before, my wife and I know better than to stay too late, especially after the posted closing time. However we did not appreciate the way we were thrown out with 15 minutes to spare, and found it unprofessional the way the employees rushed us out and began to take down the food so early (a few things were thrown out at 9).
Food was ok but not very good, but I am willing to attribute that to the late hour. The sushi, especially the Philadelphia rolls seemed to be akin to the ones you buy frozen and thaw out. What was supposed to be a stick of cucumber on the inside was the color of a pickle, tasted oddly acidic, and was an odd texture.
If the service had been better we would have considered giving the food another try earlier in the day when it is fresher, however the poor service has made us decide to take our business elsewhere.

I’ve been going here for four years it’s my favorite Chinese buffet. The sea bass is the best I’ve ever had. Idk what’s wrong with the other reviewers. They must be going when the food isn’t the freshest and you should never do that on any buffet. Go around noon or dinner time and it will always be great.

We just ate here. Horrible. 12.50 a person for buffet. The food is supposed to be Chinese but it so laced with peppers and like hot Mexican Chinese. Egg drop soup cold. It was also so filthy.. Dirty floor ,craw dad skeletons and dirty tables. I will not go back there ever. It sucked!

These reviews are so true. Me and my wife got there at 9:15pm, and we expect a nice warm meal but no. Service was horrible as soon as we walked through the door and they assume we were getting a to go order. My wife tells them how the food was cold and the manager was so rude to her for no reason and not attempting to fix the problem. Last time we will step foot into that place. I see why the reviews are so bad and the place is so dead on a Friday night.

Been a customer for years. Everyone, from the hostess to the people that serve the food are friendly and nice. The food was always fresh. We are a family of four and the bill was never over $40. The service, food and prices make this place an excellent eatery.

Each piece of sushi tasted like old fish had an odd smell to it. The broiled fish had no taste , fried foods tasted like they were cooked in old oil. The worst tempura vegetables I have ever had. With the other Chinese buffets around this one is lucky they’re still open. For the price you would be best suited going to McDonald’s and getting a fish sandwich.
