I’m only giving this place three stars because the food was ok and not amazing. The brisket nachos were better than ok, however, the burger and brisket sandwich was alright. The service was superb and the atmosphere was laid-back and relaxing. The place was immaculately clean and smelled good. They had a very nice bar which, I imagine, is mostly why people visit. I enjoyed the overall experience.

We like the move from fine dining to neighborhood, casual fare. The four of us each had a different item, and we were all pleased. Outstanding service, and the owner stopped to check on us and chat. It’s convenient to Rhodes College, which is a plus for us.

Not sure how I missed this all of this time. The bartender was very nice, and the specialty egg rolls for the wk were super delicious! They had some of the best tasting smoked chicken in them, with a delicious dipping sauce. I hope they make them again soon. ☮️

We visited Evergreen Grill on Wednesday evening for the first time. It was amazing!!! The atmosphere is inviting, casual, and elegant. The fresh flowers on each table were a nice touch. It is so perfectly balanced that it can easily be a place for a romantic dinner with someone special or happy hour with friends or colleagues. The people were so friendly and seemed genuinely happy. Then there’s the delicious food. It was an absolute delight finding a restaurant with creative vegetarian options made with real ingredients. We had the Crispy Cauliflower, Masala Fries, Mushroom Philly, and the Bread Pudding. I would recommend every one of those dishes, but that Bread Pudding may be one of the best desserts I’ve ever eaten, and I really love trying desserts. As we were leaving, the owner David came out and introduced himself. He was so fantastic to talk with. I love how passionate he is about food and his vision for the future of the restaurant. We look forward to being regulars there.

I’ve been a fan of Evergreen for about a year, but this weekend they launched brunch and I couldn’t be more pleased! The Ribeye bowl was perfect- cooked to perfection, high quality ingredients & the portion was enough to share (or take some home) and the Irish coffee was delicious. Kendall was an absolute delight behind the bar and made sure my experience was top notch.

Just had an amazing brunch!! I had the chicken BLT, and my boyfriend had the catfish & grits – both were phenomenal! The service was absolutely above and beyond, and the atmosphere is so charming and cozy. Love having this place in my neighborhood, we will definitely be back again and again!

This place is a lunchtime staple of my week (at least once a week). They have a buffet style of many options as an affordable lunchtime price. All you can eat food and naan. My favorite is the lamb meatball curry.
Staff is great, feels family owned family environment and they remember you. Downtown / near Downtown can’t live without this place. It’s always hard to find parking during lunchtimes.

New restaurant in the space formerly occupied by Cafe Society. Very relaxed atmosphere with one of the most interesting menus in town. Being a Southerner, the Fried Okra Salad called out to me. We also tried the patty melt which was also tasty. Don’t leave without trying the bread pudding. We will be back for more!

We found this hidden gem thanks to an instagram reel. We went today right as they opened and were pleasantly surprised with how good everything was. My husband ordered the Brisket Philly and said he easily gives it a 9/10, saying that most brisket is tough, while this was very tender, and the sauce they add to it was perfect. I ordered their Evergreen Burger. It’s very rare that I am overly happy and enjoy a burger from a sit down restaurant, but this was exceptionally delicious. We decided on Bread Pudding as well, because why not, and that was made so well. This was a great place to eat and worth the out of our way trip!
