This was our first time going to this indian food restaurant. When we first arrived it there were few cars in the parking lot. We went in and were seated immediately. Our waiter came with water and menus and gave us time to look at it and choose. When we ordered any questions we had were answered.
I ordered the Butter chicken, my husband ordered Chicken vindeloo and we ordered the combination Naan bread. It was absolutely amazing! The butter chicken was very cream and flavorful the chicken was tender and delicious. The Chicken vindeloo was also amazing. The potato chunks were tinder and easy to chew, the chicken was very flavorful and tender the base was soup like and very good. It was served with a big dish of Basmati rice. We used our Naan bread to soak up the sauces…this was amazing.
The atmosphere is calm, the service was friendly and the food was phenomenal. We will definitely be going back.

If I could have this food everyday. I absolutely would.
This is not the place to go if you expect fast food. But if you want good food, then this is most definitely where you want to go.
We spoke with multiple people asking what they ordered and all were of the same opinion: get anything. You’ll enjoy it.
We got the appetizer sampler, some garlic cheese naan, and Paneer. All amazing.
Can’t wait to come and try more.

The food was fantastic. They just opened so it took about 2 hours to finish everything from getting there and eating your food. But it was worth it. I wouldn’t do it again for awhile, but if anyone is looking at reviews right now and want to try it, it’s worth it to try it once until they’re issues are fixed with getting food out. One of the best Indian food I’ve ever had.
My wife had butter chicken, and I had tandoori chicken. Chicken. We shared a basket of naan bread as well. We had got so much food, we ended up sharing our plates to taste everything and it was fantastic. If they continue to cook at that level, I think it’ll be the best restaurant in Helena. The prices were good. The staff were awesome. Maybe at some point they can update the old Pizza Hut vibe and make it more their own. Highly recommend!

I’ve been so curious, but I waited a month for them to find their rhythm. I went for lunch, solo. Was greeted immediately and ushered to a table where I spotted a window small table and asked if I could sit there instead. Yes. Not super busy (1230 on a Friday). Ordered quickly, the Lamb Biryani and Iced Chai Latte). Food came in less than 20 mins. Ordered spice category hot (I think there was one more spice level above that). It was SOOOO good and great spice! The Raida was a great compliment to the level of slice, just wish a little more of it. However I had two full servings of leftovers and they gave me more Raida to-go. I read the reviews while I was waiting so I knew no check was coming to the table and I would need to go to the counter and tell them my table number (clearly labeled). She was so kind and asked if everything was good. My only things that could be improved is that the staff seems very aloof (maybe it’s a cultural adjustment). Not one came to check on me after food was delivered, not even to refill water. When I was ready for a to-go box, the man just pointed at a stack of them in the middle of the room, indicating to just go grab one, when they were not busy and had the opportunity to demonstrate good customer service by bringing one to my table. Lastly, the women’s bathroom is awkward; maybe they are working on it — two toilets but no barriers. There is a lock on the entrance for privacy though. I WILL be back and I do recommend it. Just some room for improvement.

Such great food! Oh my goodness. Been twice and everything we’ve eaten has been phenomenal. LOVE the naan! I can’t have dairy, and they have great options with coconut milk or vegan/vegetarian options.
Be prepared to wait. This is the only Indian cuisine we have in Helena and our community is showing it’s love and appreciation for them being here, so they are overwhelmed with customers. You need to plan 2 hours. If you don’t, you will get frustrated and dear Lord, if we run this place out of town with rudeness I am going to be so upset. Be kind. Be understanding. Enjoy the experience.
And order the naan.
* Update: been 5 times now and with the crowds getting smaller, we’ve been able to have food served within 20 minutes after arrival during a non super busy time. So good. And yes, still get the naan!

Came with family for Christmas night dinner. The food was delicious (and I’ve had Indian food all over the world), the servers were attentive despite it being very busy, and the place was clean and cozy.
We had tadka dahl, palak paneer, and paneer korma. With veg samosas and garlic naan.
YUM! Can’t wait to go again.

The food was excellent! Our friends were also fond of the food as well. The samosas, lamb tikka masala, naan, and the dumplings were all so delicious. We also tried the mango Lassi, which was also great.

Fantastic!! It’s pretty clear why this place is packed every time I drive by. My husband and I ordered the lamb vindaloo, Kashmiri naan, mango lassi, and the special appetizer plate, and it was more than enough for two people plus hefty leftovers. The naan portions were generous, the samosas were perfect giant pillows, we could have eaten one million pakoras!! I want to have the lassi every morning for breakfast. I’m so happy that they’re serving lamb, it’s very hard to find on a menu in Helena. This place is so worth the wait. Looking forward to many years of dining here!

Tried this place for the first time, and unfortunately we were not impressed. To start with the good-the food was flavorful, and the smell in the restaurant was wonderful!
Service was poor. They had 1 server for a full and busy resaraunt, she never checked on us, never came back to the table after delivering food. Paying was confusing and backed up, the waiting area was awful. One thing that’s an instant turn off for me, for cleanliness and hygiene is carpet in a restaurant! Gross! Carpet cannot be cleaned or mopped and it appears they don’t care much for cleanliness at all, as many things were dirty, and dusty.
The environment was lackluster, and the decor wasn’t great either. The dining experience as a whole was pretty disappointing, especially for the price we paid.
It’s nice to have diverse options in Helena, unfortunately this one really missed the mark for me, and I don’t think I’ll return.

Came for dinner w my daughter’s and long time friend, food was fresh, excellent tasting, thoughtfully presented, authentic, and plentiful. We ordered all our shared meals medium heat, which was oerfect for a lingering heat but didn’t blow out our palate. Our food was prepared very timely, especially considering the number of to go orders they were pumping out! The servers are friendly and pleasant, and attentive. It’s so wonderful to have this legitimate option for Indian food right here in Helena. Well worth the visit, and highly recommend the Biryani and samosas.
