Justin at Everdine’s Naperville is the best! His infectious energy is showcased every time someone enters or leaves the door.
Food was great as always! I like the sloppy Joan or sloppy mack and I’m excited to start my punch card.

I went today for the firsr time. The sandwich i ordered was the Mac and Cheese stuffed grilled cheese. It was awesome in my opinion. I also order a small bowl of the Chicken Ramen with mushroom soup. It was flavorful , but my complaint was that it was cold. My brother ordered the tomato soup which was also cold…It would’ve been nice to have hot, or even warm soup on this cold day..It was also not worth $4.25 for the bowl. I might give it another try but im not a big fan of downtown Naperville

Great little pit stop while in Naperville. Inexpensive, wholesome food. Will be back if ever in the area again.

Everdine’s Grilled Cheese is a cool spot right in the heart of Naperville, Illinois, offering a unique spin on the classic grilled cheese.

They have a variety of grilled cheese sandwiches like teriyaki chicken, Boar’s Head meats, tuna mac & cheese, or you can even build your own. Each sandwich is grilled cheese with a twist, making the menu fun and creative.

The place is small, with only four tables and some barstool seating around the counter, which is perfect for a quick bite with a couple of friends. Outdoor seating is available when the weather is nice, but large groups will find it a bit tight.

One thing to keep in mind is that it can get pretty busy, and wait times can be long. I’ve seen people wait up to 15 minutes, which feels long considering you order at the counter and seat yourself.
The staff works hard, but even with five people behind the counter, they can struggle to keep up during rushes, so be prepared to be patient.

No need to tip since there’s no table service, and you handle cleanup yourself. Sandwiches can be pricey—some options go up to $11 just for one grilled cheese sandwich —but overall, it’s a fun place worth trying.
Favorites include the Mac & Cheese, Socra Cheese and the Messy Jesse.

I had a delicious time :-).
I went on a solo mission to experience Naperville and this was the sunset cherry on top of a lovely summery day. Service was friendly and inviting and the food was even better. You can’t go wrong with a grilled cheese and that seems to be the mantra of the whole place: so many options, but whatever you end up getting will be delicious. In addition to my sandwich (the Greek-inspired socra-cheez), I loved the Tommy Mack (tomato soup + mac n cheese), and the menu has a delightful sense of humor. I can’t wait to be back and bring my friends next time!

Food looked way better online. I got the mac and cheese plus sloppy joe sandwich. It maybe had 2 spoons of sloppy joe. Maybe. Tomatoe Basil was good. I guess I had higher expectations overall though.

Unfortunately I did not have a welcoming experience to this establishment. Upon entering I was not greeted or welcomed although every person behind me was. The couple that place their order in front me was welcomed and offered suggestions. However when I stepped up to the register the staff person just stood there with a smirk in his face, and didn’t say anything. So I took the initiative to say the first greeting , and his response was what do you want..

This was my first time here and My apartment staff highly recommended that I tried this place.

Unfortunately this is not the level of customer service that builds a new customer base. I hope that improves because first impressions are everything.

Creative fun menu. Takes a while to absorb all the options, then there are specials. Broccoli cheddar soup is excellent. Love that they use the stalks to add texture and heartiness to soup. There is an option to add bacon. Great staff. Kelly, the owner, was busing tables AND checking in with customers. Very casual and comfortable. There are 5 min parking spots out front to encourage take out. Glad to see city of Batavia accommodating a new business in town. Thanks for the loyalty card, goal is to fill it up!

We love it. Great variety of sandwiches. Very unique creations. Plenty of flexibility for those with no sense of adventure as well! I went with the standard grilled cheese with cheddar. Added roast beef. Phenomenal.
