Love this diner! Great people, excellent food and affordable prices!… Update: One of my favorite places to eat period! Usually dine in a few times a week or anytime I’m working on Bonneau Beach. Breakfast is definitely my favorite but all of the food is amazing. Straight up delicious home cooking!

Ok, let me just say that if you are EVER in bonneau beach, you must stop by Evelyn’s diner! I don’t know where to start. You immediately feel welcome when you walk in the door. The menu is laid out perfectly and by the sweetness of the workers, you knew you were in for a good meal! Extremely affordable prices for the mass amount of good you get, and it’s amazing food! Cant wait to come back!

I been to Bonneau Beach many times. Even had friends who lived up there and this was many first, a d hopefully not last eating at Evelyn’s Diner. I took a picture of my meal, but there was also a dessert! My daughter and me had a great meal for under $30. I plan on going back.

Down home cooking and genuine hospitality. We were greeted upon entrance with a big smile and had our food very quickly. The meal was very good, fried chicken that was right on the mark and the corn fries were the perfect accompaniment. Drinks were delayed a bit but several parties arrive3d one after the other and there were only a couple folks waiting tables so the oversight is perfectly understandable.
Next time we’re passing through, we’ll be back for more!

Great breakfast at Evelyn’s today. The eggs were extra fluffy and yummy. Servings were a decent size, not way too big as with some restaurants. At mid-morning (around 10:30) it was very busy with phone in and walk in orders, delivery trucks off-loading, etc.; and though short staffed today, the two there still managed to give great service. It was our first visit and we will definitely go back some time. Love to support local small businesses.

Awesome place. Breakfast and lunch stuff. Had a burger, kids had grilled cheese and tenders. Everything tasted great. Waiter and staff were even better than the food. Prices were cheap as well.
