The perfect “hole in the wall” place to eat if you like authentic Mexican food. I was in a large party so had a number of things on the menu. All were delicious.

Very disappointed. My in-laws have talked about this place many times. We thought we would try on a Monday afternoon with our kids as were were off on a vacation day. We walked in and was seated. Our waitress came back and took our drink order and brought chips and salsa. She claimed to be right back. After waiting 10 minutes a table came in and was seated. They were promptly served drinks chips and order placed. We still have not placed our order as we patiently waited. The waitress walked by us 3 times but still failed to come back to place our order. We finally left after waiting over 20 minutes. I even waited at the register to let them know we were leaving. Waitress walked passed me twice and another waiter walked by me once. After 3 minutes he comes from the back to a shocking look of surprise. I explained exactly the above comment. He then stated that the food was coming out. I said we never even placedd our order but a table that was seated 10 minutes after us was.

I had the carnitas torta, I highly recommend this. I didn’t know it came with fries and I’m not a fry person so I didn’t try them. My mom had the Iowa tacos, no jalapenos or sour cream. The beef was tough for her (has had throat cancer so may be fine for others) but she enjoyed the rice and beans. I tried her refried beans and they have a great flavor.

We had chimichangas and enchiladas, delicious. Even the beans were tasty, and I usually don’t like refries much. The red salsa is good and the green is fantastic! Many flavors of margaritas but watch out–even the small size is big. Atmosphere is simple, clean, and comfortable. Server was friendly and capable. Being from Texas, I’ve eaten at countless Mexican restaurants, and Eva’s is a new favorite!

One of the most unorganized restaurants I’ve ever seen…service is horrible, and treat certain patrons like royalty while ignoring others. I went there for a pickup that I was already 5 mins late for and when I got there the manager said it would be another 20 mins. I said, “20 more mins” with a honest confused face. And he said, “ya friend what’s your problem you need to relax” and walked away. I just left. Don’t waste your time with these people
