Have ordered oxtails a couple of times and recently the Rasta pasta. Omg. Talk about flavorful. Honestly the best I’ve ever had. Oxtail was tender and falling off the bone. Rasta pasta was out of this world. Keep up the great work. Food is amazing

Looking at the reviews I was skeptical about trying this place, but my fiancé saw a video posted by someone saying how good it is which made us come to a conclusion of trying it all out and see if this influencer really know what she’s talking about. Their menu offered a bit more than Yah suh nice Jamaican which was why my fiancé chose this Eva’s rather than Yah suh.
The service need abit of improvement, there was no “Hi welcome in” like most small/big restaurant does to make their guest feel welcome. There’s no enthusiasm in it as well and when my fiancé tried to order the jerk shrimp mild spicy which they said it has to be spicy but if you see in one of the picture with the list of item you can see 10pc shrimp jerk mild or spicy sooooo??? It had to be spicy???? Yeah alright then. Then why have Mac and cheese as a side if you can’t order it as a side for your meal but can be purchased separately ???? The Cashier said it’s “ premium “ there’s no such as a premium Mac and cheese unless that Mac and cheese the come loaded with meat mtchhhh…..
The ordering for take out in person need a better system cause why would you call out the order, instead of the name of the customer, what if someone else got the same order to avoid that issue they should start taking the name of the customer.
Anyways here’s what we try:
Chicken patty – 5/10 – meat had no juice in it, was dry and barely any meat in it.
Mac and cheese – 7/10 – noodles were overcooked, there wasn’t really any flavor either.
2 meal combo Jerk chicken and oxtail – 7/10 the jerk chicken ( 3pc) was okay…. Didn’t really taste any flavor on it imo, the rice and peas were alright not as good as taste of Jamaica. The oxtail was decent but only 4pc of it not really worth the $32
Jerk shrimp – 10/10 the flavor was good, the yellow rice was cook well and season properly.
Overall the experience was meh…. Wouldn’t really recommend this place.

I have been eating at this restaurant for years. This used to be my go-to restaurant for good food. I recently bought the stew beef, and it wasn’t gross. I mean, the meat didn’t even look or taste like real beef. I called my order in but when I arrived I still had to wait for them to warm it up. The green beans were the only thing good, but the beef tasted like it came out of a can. I ate the green beans and tossed the rest of the plate; that’s now nasty. Seven years of consistency, but this was the worst visit.

Great experience! My husband and I have been on the hunt for good Jamaican food and we have found it. We ordered and by the time we made it home(made 2 addl stops) our food was still piping hot! Im talking steam!! My oxtail plate was perfectly flavored and the mac n cheese was amazing. My husband got the BBQ jerk pork and cabbage and he thoroughly enjoyed it. We will be back again!

COMPLETELY overrated. Food wasn’t good at all. Service wasn’t good either. Walked in to no hello but directed us to the menu on the screen behind us. The cashier didn’t know what was in the food and seemed distracted by her phone. Jerk Mac was dry, yellow rice was soaked in Jerk BBQ sauce which wasn’t good, chicken was tough, and plantains tasted old. Couldn’t even finish the meal. Don’t waste your time or money.

If you’re craving authentic Jamaican flavors, look no further than Eva’s Jamaican Kitchen in Florida! From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The menu is a true reflection of the island’s rich culinary heritage, offering everything from savory jerk chicken to mouthwatering oxtail and tender curry goat. The jerk chicken is perfectly spiced with just the right amount of heat, and the rice and peas are fluffy and flavorful.
Not only is the food exceptional, but the portion sizes are generous, making it well worth the price. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a top-notch dining experience. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, Eva’s Jamaican Kitchen is a must-try for anyone who loves bold, delicious, and authentic Jamaican cuisine. Highly recommend!

I saw a Facebook video that showcased what looked to be delicious Jamaican food served here. They raved about the macaroni and cheese, the Jamaican beef patties and the cabbage. I ordered all three. Did not enjoy any of it. The macaroni and cheese looked nothing like it did in the video, the patties were dried out, oily and hard… And the cabbage was overly salty. I left a message under the video informing others about my experience… The message was deleted. I was really hoping to enjoy some good Jamaican food.. unfortunately this was not the place..

You can always count on “Auntie” Eva to serve up some of Jamaica’s finest authentic cuisines. Jerk chicken, brown stew chicken, curry chicken… she doesn’t miss! I always have to order chicken patty and coco bread for the ride home. If you’re ever in the area and have a taste for some real west Caribbean food then you must stop in and give it a try!

Im giving 1 star because one the oxtales are chewy . When the smallest one is not tender u didn’t cook ur food long enough. Rice and peas is bomb. Oxtales gave us food poisoning, head aches and sick . Went to hospital and was told food poisoning. Leaving this review for the owner and for my own records as well. Never been to a Jamaican restaurant where the people dont know how to cook ur food right. Either was not cook all way or they are being dirty in the back of the kitchen with contamination . Be careful
