I got a rib plate the service was exceptional very nice and friendly. The ribs are well seasoned and taste great with or without the sauce. My 1st time but definitely not my last. I’m getting a pound next and can’t wait for the brisket. Thanks l love it!

I ordered a beef plate with beans and potatoe salad. I was given old, cold ,dry , tasteless brisket slices and store bought sides. I’m really disappointed because I like to support small businesses. The food I purchased was not fresh. I could imagine the meat was cooked a few days ago. I also attached photos of what I received. I will not be back. SMH

I called in an order today at 5:47 PM for two baked potatoes. I was informed they were currently out but would be ready around 7:00 PM. I agreed and placed the order, as I was driving in from Fort Worth after work.
When I arrived at 7:00 PM to pick up my order, I was told it would be about five more minutes. I waited an additional 20 minutes before going back inside to check on my food, only to be told that it was still not ready. At that point, the employee assisting me was very nonchalant and did not seem concerned about the delay or my time.
The lack of communication, urgency, and customer service was disappointing. I understand delays can happen, but the experience could have been handled much better with clearer updates and a more professional attitude.

I have been going to this location since 2022. I found them after going to a PT appointment. I love everything! Now that peach cobbler is OMG!! Get 10 of them! Everyone is extremely nice. Proud of this black owned business! Now, because they are so good, I cant get my ham order in for Thanksgiving

This was my first visit to a barbecue joint in Dallas period, I can truly say the ribs were amazing and fell right off the bone, so tender! The potato salad was pretty good, however my favorite was the barbecue sauce!! That sauce was on point I could just eat any meat with their sauce. I’ll definitely be back to try more on the menu.

Rib plate large ribs and plenty for 15.99 and 2 sides great deal, buuuut meat is extremely tough and they put sugar on it. Good flavor. Green beans straight out the can, nothing exciting. Cabbage smokey . It was good. Peach cobbler pretty ok, I’d get it again.

I Was Watching Sunday Night Football.
Wanted Some BBQ Once Halftime Hit. I Go Online And Find The Only BBQ Spot Open Near My Home. Evans Comes Up And I Order Online ( I’m Sort Of Old School I Don’t Like This Online Ordering Stuff) But I Give It A Try Via Door Dash. It Takes My Payment Immediately And A Link For My Updates. Well Let’s Just Say After 20 Mins No Updates Occurred. The Ticket Didn’t Go To The Kitchen I Was Like Oh No .
I Decided To Drive By And The Whole Place Is Closed. But I Checked Previously Online Before I Ordered If They Were Open. So Needless To Say No Evans Pit For Me That Day.
I Waited Until Today Tuesday To Contact Them When They Were Open. The Young Lady That Answered The Phone Was Super Professional And Explained To Me That She Would Pass The Information To Her Manager Once She Arrives Between 1 And 2 PM. I Was Promptly Called Back Before 1PM And Spoke With Mrs. Evans
She Was Super Understanding Of The Situation Apologized Many Times. She Even Said Let Me Still Make Your Food On The House Because I Really Want You To Try Our Food.
Evans Pit On This Particular Situation Amazed Me. Their Attention To Detail, Understanding, Follow Up, And Customer Service Have Really Won Me Over. Thank You So Much And Now Into The Future You Will Receive My Family’s BBQ Orders.

I wanted bbq so bad was craving it on Sunday which online the was open but even I got there they was close. So I came back on Tuesday when they open back up to try the rib and beef dinner meal first the ribs and the beef did not have any seasoning on it whatsoever. It was really bland and they didn’t even give me any barbecue sauce. The ribs were really tough and the beef was dried out. I came here before meat was decent but not this time. I also have some greens and some beans. The greens was really bland, but they were cooked nice as far as the texture and the beans didn’t look too appetizing so I added salt to the plate just to be able to eat it, but I was disappointed, also I came on night and I wanted some Kool-Aid and they told me they have no tops so that was pretty disappointing overall the lady was cool I had good customer service. I think that’s the only reason why I’m writing this 2 stars
