Staff was super friendly! We ordered a large trout and a large shrimp with cod, and I gasped after opening the container. Portions are HUGE. One would have definitely been enough haha! We took it to our hotel to eat since it was a little cold for sitting outside, and everything was still super crisp and delicious. The fries are also insanely good with the sauce. The price is wild ($17 per large, $34 total) for the quality and quantity of this food. We’re def going to be back before we fly home for that sticky pudding and 2nds
Update: we went back and also tried the sausage roll and scotch egg and they were divine. So sad we won’t have this back home, but we will be back if ever in flagstaff!

Best fish and chips you’ll get state side! Just recently spent a week in England and had some fantastic fish and chips (shout out to Prince Regent Pub in Cambridge holy moly). Crispy outside and delicious cod inside. They have several other offerings buuuuuuuuuuuuutttt gotta go cod fried with chips.
Extra malt vinegar, they have a few tartars like a spicy one etc. They also had English mustard which was fantastic.
There’s only room for two people (barely) inside, so what I recommend is parking as close as you can then eat in the comfort of your vehicle. That’s mainly in the winter .
Service is always very friendly and the food comes out fast.
Highly recommend if you’re in town or driving through!

A must try when you visit flagstaff! It’s just a small little place but you can tell it’s good since people wait in line for it. Definitely one of the best we’ve had, especially the shrimp! It was done perfectly! Loved the white sauce that came with it.

Late night dinner and the food was awesome. Trout and shrimp with French fries. And a tasty fresh baked cheesy onion roll. The gravy is fantastic too. Glad to have stopped by here. Quick speedy service. Fresh made to order food. Love the inside information board too.

Some of the best fish and chips I’ve had, having traveled a lot and had fish and chips in coast towns. We came late in the evening and there was a line, but it cycled through quickly, and our food was cooked fresh. The cod and (sweet?) shrimp combo we got tasted very fresh. I personally loved the batter to fish ratio; there was more meat, so the batter didn’t overpower the seafood aroma or feel overly oily. That’s usually my issue with fish and chips—they tend to be too oily from the batter. Sodas and drinks were also very reasonably priced. Would definitely come back again and recommend to friends!

Be forewarned, no seating inside. We didn’t know that and drove up from Rimrock to try this place and had to sit in the car.
Other than that, it’s decent fish and chips. The chips are fluffy on the inside. Fish is a whole filet of cod. I do think it could have been a bit more moist and had more salt in the batter, but it’s a good meal. We also tried their cheese onions pastry. It’s good, but I probably wouldn’t get it again. Got the sausage roll and the pastry was perfect and flaky but I personally prefer not as dense a sausage. The scotch egg was good, I just don’t care for the sausage flavor, but it was a perfect runny egg and was crisp on the outside. The register worker was nice and patient.
The real star was the sticky toffee pudding, which was freaking amazing. Before we left we ordered two more to take home for later. Absolute show stopper. I’m coming back here just for that. Going to have cravings for it now.

We are Flagstaff locals but came here for the first time tonight, it was soooo good! Everything we ordered (cod, shrimp, sausage) all of it was fantastic, fast, huge portions. Service was great! The gal behind the counter was also a total bad ass, there was a random fight outside in the alley while we were there and she ran out there and broke it up no problem, totally gave them the business. It was amazing. This place is so worth your time!

If you’ve never had a scotch egg, do yourself a favor and go here and get one (or two!). It’s amazing. Their steak and ale pot pie is also delicious. We come here to eat every time we’re in Flagstaff. This hole in the wall is a gem.

If you know, you know — Evan’s is the real deal. I’ve been coming here for years, and they never miss. Stopped in today after wandering around downtown, and the fish was fresh, hot, and perfectly breaded — not heavy at all. Fries were crispy with just the right hit of seasoning. It’s true English fish and chips, right here in Flagstaff. Whether you’re warming up after a snowy day or just cruising past Heritage Square, this place always hits.

Got some fish and chips here last night at the suggestion of the local meadery. Was very satisfied with the food here. The tartar sauce was delicious and definitely made in house. Loved the sticky toffee pudding. We split the cod combo and it was definitely plenty of food for 2 people. This was better than some of the fish and chips spots that we went to in London! Would definitely recommend if you are looking for some comfort food in Flagstaff.
