Reviews
As of today, I am adding one more star to the Service section and two more stars to the food section. Here’s the thing, on yelp—I was offered to reach out via email to talk about the experience, and I was given a complimentary amount to come back and try the restaurant.
I recently came back and was serviced by server Emmanuel M, who was really pleasant and kind person. I wanted to report back that the food had improved significantly, the service was awesome, the experience as a whole had been much better. I really appreciate the time that someone took to invite us back, this was what I will remember when we are at the university Village in our considering meal options. You’ve made a lasting impact.
The ONLY thing still- the fries were cold, and not fresh.
wanted to like this place!
I had passed by tons of times.
Unfortunately this spot fell flat for our visit.
Service: 2/5
Food:2/5
Location:4/5
They seated my party outside which was fine- but in the corner of the patio where our seats could barely pull out. Which isn’t great- but to add… someone in my party was bigger, has mobility issues and uses a cane. This seemed obvious, and felt like the host should have acknowledged this upon considering what table he would take us too.
We scooted the table to help, but ultimately were uncomfortable. Upon taking orders, the waiter was pretty kind, and prompt, and hyped up the menu options for us.
Which was unfortunate as we experienced an order of cold food, old fries, and my burger overdone.
Flavors were mild for the price to plate ratio.
This was all the more emphasized as we were trying this place out to celebrate someone in our party. It’s taken some time for me to circle around and write this review, but the experience is still disappointing and wanted to warn others considering this spot.
The spot appears like it’s often mildly busy- so perhaps this was an “off staff” or “off day” but I won’t be rushing back any time soon on my own. Seattle is such a great food scene, and there’s plenty of other worthy options nearby
Service tends to be friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere feels upbeat without being overly noisy, with bar seating often recommended if you want quicker service and interaction with bartenders. Happy hour brings good deals on drinks and select small plates, which we appreciate.
Overall, the quality and vibrant vibe keep me coming back, and with free nearby parking and a convenient location within the U Village, Eureka! remains a solid choice for casual, flavorful American fare.
The restaurant itself is spacious and has both indoor and outdoor dining options.
The food was solid. I had a salad so I can’t completely judge the food based entirely on that. However, the salad was good and fresh. I also added the salmon to my meal and it was delicious. It was seasoned perfectly— and cooked.
The cocktail I had was weak— which wasn’t a surprise. The beer selection they have on tap is pretty good. Also, nice bourbon and whiskey selection. I would go for the beers and a drink neat or on the rocks.
The server/ bartender I encountered during my visit was very pleasant and friendly — worth revisiting for the hospitality alone.
It has been almost 24 hours since I last vomited but I can still taste the grease every time I burp. My boyfriend had the fresno fig burger, luckily he didn’t get sick from it but when I tried a bite of his burger, it honestly tasted kind of gross and funky (weird choice of ingredients).
The service was fine, this is the only reason I’m giving a 2 star rating but please make your wagyu bone marrow burger less greasy. I wouldn’t be surprised if I was not the only one who was a victim of this burger.
We go every time my daughter had an appointment at Seattle Children’s, so of course she requested their grilled cheese and tomato soup while we are over here as her last meal before being NPO, and being admitted for 7-10days. Didn’t expect this from them!!!
