This is one of Matt’s recommendations from FB so we needed to give it a try. While they had many things that looked interesting, we had to settle for something else. We started with tzatziki and taramasalada with bread which was very good! The white wine was our favorite Assyrtiko and we ordered meat balls fricassee which was ok. They gave us a sweet dessert to finish and we washed it down with a small bottle of premium ouzo. We sat streetside which is our preferred location to watch the world go by.

This was a fantastic find during our wanderings through Plaka. A bit off the main streets, and felt authentic. We ordered the dolmades and pastitsio. Both were delicious. Tasty bread was brought out before the meal, and sweet white grapes were provided after the meal. A busy, but friendly waitress. The food came out quickly. Highly recommended!

Ok, the food here is just beyond amazing. The atmosphere is good, not great, but who cares? I love great food. If you love great food, you will love this restaurant!! We had stuffed vine leaves, feta and olives, green beans, meatballs in tomato sauce over spaghetti, lamb, and sea bass. Every single bite was amazing. The bread and wine were also delicious. When they run out of a dish for the evening, they’re out. We wanted to bring some meatballs home but they ran out. Get it while it’s there!

Very nice, homely taverna. We dined there 6th July for dinner.
Meatballs were the showstopper for the meal. It was very flavourful and fragrant. Seabream and cheese saganaki was alright, mostly home styled. Tarama dip was also generous. Prices were decent for a restaurant in the middle of the city.
Owner was kind enough to serve some complimentary watermelon. Would visit again!
