First, the service was absolutely horrendous. It was so slow and there was only one waiter, so we attributed it to that.

I ordered the taste of new orleans with red beans and rice, sausage, gumbo, and crawfish ettouffe. The red beans and rice were good. The rest was horrible. Waiter did not even come back to our table and ask us how our food was.

Brother in law had fried shrimp he said it was very good, and my sister had blackened ribeye, which was good.

The only reason we stop was because of the young man at the door!!! Very charming and inviting! Atmosphere was very friendly, good food, oysters were better than Dragos… Definitely worth a visit.

Great restaurant and bar we visited for drinks twice during our 5 days here and felt so welcome, on our last night we ate and what wonderful food it was, seafood platter was enormous, pasta Alfredo was superb and the gumbo to start was something else, service atmosphere, friendliness was second to non and the price was very reasonable, they have an extensive menu with something for everyone.

The vibe of this restaurant was lovely. Our server, Chris, was fun and made us feel so welcome! The alcoholic beverages served were very strong

The lobster bisque was delicious, unfortunately after that everything went downhill.
We ordered the NY strip medium rare and a baked potato. The steak was overcooked and very dry. Potatoes tasted microwaved.
Crayfish etouffee was ok.
Full bar, football games on the TVs. Inside outside seating.

We were excited to try this restaurant—the atmosphere was great and the menu looked promising. Unfortunately, the service really missed the mark.

The kitchen seemed overwhelmed, and while we understand delays happen, communication was lacking. Our waitress disappeared for long stretches, and when she returned, she was clearly flustered. We had to remind her twice about bread and flag her down for drink refills. Even then, she only refilled one glass at the table before rushing off again.

My shrimp and grits were actually very good—flavorful and cooked perfectly. But my friend’s “ribeye” looked more like a sirloin, and both his steak and potato were cold. The manager was hard to find and seemed more focused on greeting people outside than checking on guests inside the restaurant.

When we asked for separate checks, our waitress said she didn’t have time and walked away. That was the final disappointment.

We wanted to love this place, but the lack of attention and poor service made it hard to enjoy the meal. Hopefully, it was just an off night because the food shows real potential.

It looked a little shabby from the street, but once we walked in it was homey and cozy. The waiter was so friendly and joked around too, they made us feel at home. The food was amazing. The steak was perfect and the crab cakes were the best we had in New Orleans. The chef came out too, and he was so nice also. It felt like a neighborhood restaurant, not super touristy like most in the area.

Authentic New Orleans cuisine. The BBQ shrimp appetizer was phenomenal. The blackened ribeye was cooked to perfection.

The BBQ shrimp sauce was so good that I asked for a straw to drink it!!! Could’ve also used the Sazerac straw of the.fine Sazarac cocktail Joseph mixed for me, but he generously gave me a separate straw.
