A dining experience here is nothing short of incredible. Estia is an excellent choice for special occasions and dates, or any reason to treat yourself!

Estia Taverna brings a slice of Greek life to the main line. My wife and I went here for an anniversary dinner and we were blown away. The restaurant decor is pleasing to the eye, the service is top shelf, and the food was fantastic. We started with the Estia chips. These are a must get. The zucchini and eggplant are exquisitely sliced; so thin and holds it shape as you dip it into the tzatziki sauce. Really great crunch. Next we got the seafood tower. We are big seafood lovers and the tower did not disappoint. Large and filled with seafood options. I probably shouldn’t have even ordered an entree, but wanted to experiment and try something on their menu that I had never had before. I ordered the moussaka. Wasn’t able to finish it, but it was delicious, and still fantastic when I heated it up and had it the next day! Really happy with all aspects of our meal and will be telling all of our friends.

Cute spot! Went for happy hour. Oysters were delicious and fresh tasting. Highly recommend the grilled calamari for a change. The server was attentive even though the bar was packed

Take-out order including greek salad, salmon, swordfish souvlaki and a side order of spanakorizo, hummus, pita and olives. Portion sizes are small, particularly for the swordfish – photo below of what we got for $38. Not cool, wish it were clearer online that you literally just get the fish, a couple of vegetables, and salad dressing. That said the fish was good; just order some sides and pita separately and treat it like a $50-60 entree. Salmon was excellent as well, served with its own spanakorizo. Salad was fine. Conflicted on this one – the food is excellent quality but overpriced for what you get.

Went for a birthday celebration and the food was amazing! Paige, our waiter, made some great suggestions and was so accommodating. Their octopus and eggplants chips were out of this world. I would advise that their caramel salted baklava could be a bit to salty for someone with a weak tolerance level to salt overall great experience! Would definitely go back for more of their scrumptious seafood ❤️

My husband and I were given a gift card for Estia, so we dined here yesterday evening with the intention of trying as many things as possible. We’d been to the Estia in center city Philly a few times before, but this was our first time at this location. I’m happy to report that everything we ordered was spectacular! For appetizers, we ordered the octopodi, fried calamari, and tuna tartare. For entrees, we ordered the lamb shank, sea bass, and a lamb chop on the side for each of us. I also added a side of the karavides to my entree, upon the server’s suggestion. We appreciated the option to mix and max entrees so that we could try a variety of dishes. For dessert, we shared the cheesecake, which was decadent, but not too heavy. On top of all that, we each had several cocktails, which were all amazing. The Zeus’ Mistress was our absolute favorite—I highly recommend it! While the price point of this establishment is admittedly on the higher side, it was a very enjoyable dining experience that I look forward to revisiting for the next special occasion.

First time there today. Food is excellent. Service could be way better. Food runners left food and walk away so fast without taking empty plates and we were at a small high top for two and not much room. Waiter did not check in often enough. Food is awesome, but a bit pricey. 4 shrimp is $22? 3 dolmades is $16? Way over priced I think by about 15%. I would return maybe but not a regular thing. Atmosphere is great.
