I wish I could say our experience at this steak house was memorable, but unfortunately it fell short in several ways. While the meat itself was good, it wasn’t anything special or distinctive. What was distinctive, however, was the overwhelming number of people and the constant noise. We visited on a Wednesday at 7:00 PM and the place felt chaotic, hardly the atmosphere you’d expect for a relaxing dinner.
We were given a reservation for only 90 minutes, which at first felt inconvenient, but in hindsight was a relief, because sitting any longer in that level of noise would have been unbearable. The staff were friendly, but their English was limited, and combined with the loud environment, it made communication frustrating and awkward.
In total we spent 300 euros for dinner with wine for two people, and considering the overall experience, we cannot recommend this place to anyone.

Their service mentality, food, ambience, they obviously deserve to hear nothing but only good things.
We tried 21 days dry aged Irisches Weiderind and Rumpsteak, chief prepared my steak just as I demanded; medium rare. It was perfect cooked! Irisches was with a bit more fat percentage a bit more delicious by the way. Grilled Green pepper were delicious as well and were a perfect companion to steak. French fries were crunchy enough.
We drank Pinot Noir and Malbec as per Claudia’s recommendation, Malbec was spicy and strong enough which perfectly fits to my taste.
All the waiters and waitresses can speak perfect English btw.
Ambience was crowded but not too loud, it was such a cozy and clean Restaurant. Definitely we will be back, Thank you and conguratulations for great job!

We came here with a group of 4 people back in August after making a reservation online about 2 weeks in advance. As we made a reservation in advance, I’m unsure of how hard it’d be to come here without one, but the dining room filled up pretty quickly after we were seated, so I would definitely suggest reserving to be safe.
The entrance to the restaurant is a little bit hidden away. When entering, you are immediately welcomed by a cozy dining room, up a small flight of stairs.
We ordered some appetizers, in the form of grilled pimiento peppers, and a couple of sausages.
For mains, each of us ordered different cuts. I personally ordered the dry-aged ribeye (300g), as well as sides of fried potatoes with onions and bacon, and sauteed mushrooms. I ordered my steak medium rare, and it came out perfectly cooked. The meat was wonderfully tender and juicy, and had a slight nuttiness from the dry-age.
All in all, between 4 people, the total ended up at just about 280 euros. I would definitely be willing to come back, should I make it back to Hamburg in the future, and I would highly recommend this location if you’re looking for a nice night out.

We had a lovely dinner at this beautiful steakhouse. Our waiter managed to fully accommodate my needs despite my multiple dietary requirements, explaining that everything is freshly made from scratch. The steaks were juicy and accompanied by a wide selection of sides. We also highly recommend their house-made sausage. It was simply divine. Dessert was fresh and delicious as well. If I lived in Hamburg, I’d be here every other night for sure. An amazing experience overall.

I disagree with some of the previous reviews regarding the pricing. I find this restaurant very reasonably priced for the level of quality, service and ambiance.
I absolutely love this restaurant!!! The food quality is outstanding, and the service is incredible. Claudia and her team provide service that is fantastic. The ambiance is great as well. Do not pass up the chance to eat here. I ate here twice in one week while attending a conference in Hamburg.

Had the pleasure of visiting estancia steaks during a hot summer day. They have a nice seating area outside, which fits a decent amount of people.
The tartare looked a bit oxidized visually, but was very tasty. The beef was ordered rare but was probably closer to a medium rare. The sear is great and gives it that umami flavor.
Overall a very good spot and I understand the popularity of the place.

Negative experience. Confusion over having a drink before dinner seating, caused the staff to stress. They encouraged us to try their fresh chimichurri, which was brown, stale and simply not chimichurri. Maybe their version of it, and it wasn’t fresh or tasty. Piemento Padron were over cooked and lost their color. The bottle of wine we ordered arrived at the table after our food, and was already opened. We tried it. It was completely off. Clearly it had been sitting out, opened and exposed to heat. They brought another that I had to ask to be opened at the table – as it should be. This is basic stuff. The final slap was the rat trap we noticed less than half a meter from our table. Steak was great, but presentation completely absent. Not worth it. Pretty awful dining experience.
