A real gem of a restaurant. Really nice and warm ambience and friendly staff. I had an old fashioned cocktail with smoked cinnamon, oysters from the raw bar, and the mesquite grilled skirt steak. All were excellent. I really enjoyed the flavors of the skirt steak with the Bacanora beans. I finished with the jalapeno and corn bread ice cream. I’m looking forward to visiting Espirtu again soon.

We went last weekend for our anniversary dinner and we’re surprised to see they had expanded and have much more seeting. Normally we go there because the food and drinks are very good and somewhat unique. The staff was very nice and gave us complimentary champagne.. My normal favorite is the skirt steak with those amazing beans, but this time I had to go for the whole fish. The red snapper was cooked to perfection and very tasty, I recommend it if you have never tried it this way before. The birria dumplings were amazing as well. We will be back again soon for sure!

Me and my friends had a great time here. The food was really good. We ordered a medium fish and it was enough to split between 3 people. The seasoning on the fish was very good! The meat falls off the bone and the salad around it was delicious as well. The drinks we ordered were very good as well. The restaurant has a cool vibe to it and the service was good.

This spot absolutely lives up to the hype. Everything we ordered was delicious and flavorful. We tried the papas tacos, burger, and Sonoran beans. Everything had perfectly balanced flavors and ingredients. Truly the best pinto beans I have ever had. The drinks were phenomenal as well, very well crafted and balanced. The drink menu is very descriptive and shows a scale of how sweet/bitter/sour/boozy the drink will be. Service was also amazing, our server was very kind and explained the menu to us perfectly

The drinks were not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making them feel like little works of art. I really enjoyed having them, and the birthday shot I received was so smooth that I could hardly taste the alcohol—absolutely perfect. We have been here twice and haven’t had anything that was not absolutely delicious! The seafood is so fresh and prepared beautifully. The steaks were wonderful, as well. Oh and they have THE BEST tortillas!

If you haven’t been here you’re missing out! The drinks are amazing we had old fashioned with a brown sugar mix (can’t remember the name) the ceviche is so delicious and we always get the potato tacos! We also tried the pork belly, the burger and the short ribs! Everything was delicious!!

Excellent front to back experience. Nicole the host/manager was absolutely awesome- last minute wanted to move to bar from table, etc she made it a breeze. Guys behind the bar were attentive and fun. Drinks, food, music, atmosphere. All something downtown Mesa desperately needs and will be there many times again. Perfect date night out, spot to meet with friends restaurant.
