This place is a cool little gem in Los Banos. A friend of mine lives there and we meet up for lunch or dinner here. I love it because there is a vegan option and they have vegan cheese! They have artichoke enchiladas with vegan cheese available. The food is pretty good, I like their beans the most. Service is always good.
It is a very large restaurant and can fit large parties. They have a nice patio and bar area.
It gets busy on weekends, but we were still able to get a table quickly on a Friday night despite it being busy.

Well preserved historic building which adds to the charm of the restaurant. The staff was very nice and attentive. The food was good with plenty of servings. They have complimentary chips with salsa, the canne asada fries was delicious. The service was fast with no wait seating time and the food was freshly cooked.

Espana’s in Los Banos is a delightful spot that never disappoints. I usually go for either the chicken fajitas or the enchiladas—both the cheese and chicken versions are consistently delicious. The chips and salsa are flavorful, and they make the experience even better. Inside, the atmosphere is charming, with a cute Spanish vibe reminiscent of an old hotel. Even their wood-fired margarita pizzas are surprisingly good, thanks to that authentic smoky flavor. It’s definitely a place I keep coming back to!

The food was good not great. The service was excellent. Food costs was a bit on the high side. We had the Mexican food, chili Verde was ok not enough sauce. Had to salt the fish which I never do. Chili relleno was uninspired with too heavy of batter and tasteless cheese. Tacos were good.

I didn’t want to make a review about this because I am very chill about many situations, but, I just couldn’t hold myself back from this. I came into this restaurant with a couple of friends on about June 30th, we waited for a waitress and our food to come for a long time. The part I would like to report is when I had went to the mens bathroom, there was fecal matter smeared on the mirror, the floor, and the sink was clogged with feces in it. I wonder where the janitor/cleaner was and how you guys can keep operating throughout the day with something like this….

Sat at the bar and had rib eye fajitas and margaritas. Food was good bartender was great I forget her name. Quick lunch passing through town on my way from Monterey to Yosemite. Was here years ago and it was good then to.

The food here was very good! The service from our waiter was also excellent. The reason for the four stars instead of five is that the hostess we first incountered here was not very friendly and in fact made us feel like an inconvenience. The exceptional service provided by our waiter completely changed our experience from negative to positive.

Fajitas and Family…you can’t go wrong. This place has every taste bud looking for more! Service is on it and the drinks are yummy! Outside patio…sure why not! Inside bar…certainly! Inside by the fountain….why not! Hanging for hours…better call in! It’s a overall special treat to eat and stay awhile here!

Great experience! We had just finished a 10 hour drive and were so happy to get to enjoy Excellent food and service Our waitress was excellent, very engaging and helpful. My husband got the Chimichanga and i got a combo so i could try a bit of everything So so good! Oh yeah and the drinks were excellent as well!
