This place is awesome! The service is super quick and friendly, and the Mexican food is seriously delicious. I love that they give you free chips and salsa, plus that amazing cheese dip. The prices are really reasonable too, and the inside looks so cool with its authentic Mexican decor. Definitely recommend checking it out!

We visited this restaurant with our family over the weekend — everything was just wonderful! The atmosphere is pleasant and cozy, and the staff are polite and friendly. The food is simple but very tasty and fresh — you can tell it’s made with care. The portions are generous, and the presentation is neat. We especially liked the burgers and salads — everything was great. The prices are reasonable and match the quality. A perfect place to enjoy a nice meal with family. We’ll definitely come back!

I’ll give it another try another day – today was super busy. Chips were stale, coffee was very dark and seemed like it had been sitting for a while ( we did arrive at 1pm-ish)
Had the Guadalajara omelet and it was not great- beans were good.. friends plate was also not great …

Summary: Causal restaurant serving casual food and reasonable prices.

Favs: The quesadilla with carne asada, the trips and the fish tacos were all good. both flour and corn tortillas were handmade and good.

Reason for 4 stars- the Caldo de pollo: very bland and adding salt did help but the biggest issue was that the single piece of chicken in the whole soup was only a small leg with a quarter of the chicken thigh attached… which is a small amount of chicken for most people for a soup that cost $11, imo.

First the bad:
It’s not their fault but I’m a huge/tall guy and the space is little for us big people.
My family went without me in the afternoon and the service is bad at that time. Having to ask for refills, napkins etc. good luck.
Now the good:
The service in the morning is great, everyone is happy to see you. The food is delicious and flavorful. Watch out for the special sauce it’s kinda strong. The prices are great also they have specials. I will return but only for breakfast. The afternoon shift needs to have empathy for the customers.

We found an awesome little Mexican spot near Mission San Juan with tons of tasty options. Everything was handmade, from the tortillas to the salsas, and the food was super flavorful and cooked just right. It’s a chill place with great service, outdoor seating, traditional music, and even a drive-thru for quick bites.

Okay my foodie travelers. If you don’t know this quaint spot you should. It’s a small restaurant, but the food is absolutely delicious. Great lunch specials and served with a tea for less than $10. Plates come loaded and the flavors are very authentic. They have a drive thru too. Very good Mexican food.

We have been coming to this place since it opened. I’ve even brought family here to try it. It’s always been good. Everything we have ordered is good. Our tea is also topped off promptly. And the wait staff is friendly. But I did have a incident yesterday. My hubby and I ate there and I ordered crispy picadillo tacos and they were so salty and hubby ordered a plate and neither of us received utensils for eating. We got long spoons in our tea and we used them to eat our food. The place was not super busy at that time. This will not deter us from coming here. Everyone is entitled to having a bad day. Hoping for a better experience next time.
