First time here, was very charmed by the signage.
Ordered the E-Sarn Style Salad with Fried Pork Jowl which was fantastically crunchy and flavoursome.
A little small on the portion size but delicious. For a dish like this it would be worth ordering a side of rice instead of spooning up the sauce like a freak as I did. Superbly yummy.
EDIT: Came back again with friends and tried more of the menu. Pork jowl remains the standout. Don’t miss it.

A fantastic Thai spot! The flavors here are genuinely authentic, tasting just like Thailand. We received great service from the moment we walked in. The cooking is remarkably fast, which is perfect for a quick dinner. The price is very reasonable/not expensive, offering excellent value. It gets a bit busy in the evening, but the vibe is good, and the shop is impeccably clean. Highly recommended!

I would say ESARN ROCKET can cook authentic Thai Street Food!
We ordered Hot & Sour Pork Bones Soup เล้ง, Som Tum Thai ส้มตำไทย and Spicy Pork Liver Salad ตับหวาน.
All are delicious, perfect combination of lime juice/ fish sauce and all other ingredients. These make me feel like “Wow! I don’t need to fly back to Bangkok to eat these menus anymore!”

Fantastic place to get delicious Thai food. We really enjoyed the papaya salad, pork larb and beef salad. Loved the hot and sour pork bone soup – can’t think about of anywhere else I’ve seen that.
Medium spice was more like hot – might be a bit much for someone who doesn’t like spicy food.
Definitely the place to come for authentically flavoured and delicious Thai food!
We loved the outdoor seating which was fine for well behaved dogs.
Two things worth noting:
-They’re weren’t licensed yet last time we went. This may have happened since then, but when we were there it was no alcohol.
-I love coconut water as an alternative to alcohol, but wish they had coconut water without added sugar. The 500ml can had 38.6 grams of sugar, and ingredients confirmed sugar added.

Definitely one of the best Thai food we had in New Zealand! Highly recommend the tom yum goong and pad thai 🙂 amazing authentic flavours at decent prices. We left happy and satisfied!

Very average Thai food. WAY too sweet and unhealthy – calories more than anyone should eat on a dish – would not go back, there is far better Thai food. Had high expectations with their Google reviews, however, food is not authentic and adapted to suit european taste sadly and that is sugar, frozen chicken reheated, msg and conconut cream unfortunately instead of fresh vegetables and genuine Thai taste. There are much better places in Auckland than this.

Honestly some of if not the best Thai food I’ve had in a while ! The food was delicious, spicy, salty, sour and fresh with a great balance of flavour. The service was great fast, efficient and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Thai experience !!!!

Easily the best Thai I’ve had in Auckland. Brilliant little spot in Westmere and well priced. Don’t serve alcohol at the moment but have an interesting mix of other drinks.

We ordered a lot of food for four people yesterday. It was super delicious, and their service was really good as well. The prices are very affordable compared to most other shops. I really recommend it.

We found Esarn Rocket Thai Street food tucks in along cafe and shops in Westmere and boy what a nice find! Fast and lovely service, food here is very legit. Portions are a bit smaller compared to many Thai restaurants in Auckland but the taste is delightful.
