Since the very moment we walked in we were greeted by the Manager Gaby and the staff members. Everything looked so clean and very romantic. I stopped by with my husband for a nice dinner and we were amazed on how great their customer service is. The cooks did a great job at preparing our delicious food. (Thank you). The Violinist was amazing, he made our dinner feel so romantic. Our server (Zahira) was exceptional. She was very attentive to our needs, was very informative on the menu and recommended our delicious drinks made perfectly by the bar tender. Overall Everyone should check out this location. The customer service is amazing and you always feel very welcomed. I happened to be off that day but I happen to be part of Corporate for Sizzler USA and we open stores all over the world and critic restaurants so please take my options seriously when I invite you all to share the same amazing experience my husband and I had. Thank you Ernie’s restaurant for your hard work. Your restaurants integrity is well represented by your great staff members. Great Job everyone. You got A+++ on my critic. Tonight, I had a great time visiting this place with a group of five. The food was generous in portions and delicious. The chips weren’t my personal favorite, but I’m used to different types. The staff was friendly, and the ladies at the front even took a picture of our group before we left. They suggested a great background, which was really nice.

Dinner before a show at El Portal theater and I am so glad we found this place! Food and Margheritas were great and the atmosphere is very relaxed with live acouatic guitar playing.

Wife and I enjoyed our meals, I had the Skylab with carne asada and wife had combo with taco and taquitos. Waitress was attentive and brought everything we asked quickly. More food than we could eat. If back in area would definitely stop again. Parking is limited, ended up parked about a block away.

Amazing authentic mexican food. Not too spicy, not too tangy, it was extremely satisfying to come and get a taste. Our family was about 11 in size and were easily accommodated on New Year’s Eve. 5 stars all around.

This review is way overdue, but I have to give credit where it’s due — Ernie’s absolutely nailed it for my daughter’s First Communion brunch! The food was delicious, the service was flawless, and the party planner made everything so easy. They even designed custom Hello Kitty menus just for her — talk about going above and beyond!
I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. The team handled every detail, and the whole event was smooth, fun, and stress-free. We’ve been coming to Ernie’s after church for years, and it’s just part of our family rhythm now. The food’s always great, the staff are kind, the prices are fair, and even my picky eaters clean their plates (that’s the real miracle!).

I hate giving out one star review, but this place really deserved it. The food is terrible salsa no taste. The corn out of tacos were blend and chewy overcooked. Each taco was $9 dollars! That price in LA, They better be phenomenal. They felt very short of acceptable. Also, the waitress tried to keep the bill high and charge us all the card prices versus getting us a combo with rice and beans. Feeling sick shortly after eating

Very good traditional Mexican food. Parking was tight but found a spot. Friendly and helpfull staff. No wait for seating. Dinner came quick to the table. Most nights they have live music. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Ernie’s Restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully served. The atmosphere feels warm and welcoming, and the staff made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. You can tell they really care about quality and service.
