Ernesto’s is a long time Saint George restaurant. It is located in the Phoenix plaza strip mall at the corner of Sunset Blvd. and Valley View Drive. Their food is always consistent and very delicious and they have quite a loyal following. I’ve been ordering the same meal now for 23 years, a pork burrito with white sauce. The pork is cubed, very flavorful, and very tender. The meals come with a side of rice and beans. My wife’s favorite meal is the shredded chicken chimichanga, which is also very delicious, and perfectly cooked. The restaurant is painted in bright colors, and is always kept very clean. Chips and salsa are provided free. The service is always very quick and responsive. There’s never a long wait for your food. They have both booths and table seating. They have a couple of large tables to handle larger groups. The dining area is fairly utilitarian. Muy buena comida!

Service was good but they seemed understaffed so a bit slow. the food was only decent. The chips were amazing, the salsa wasn’t the greatest. I ordered the tilapia special and it wasn’t very flavorful.

First time visit, not my last! One of the better Mexican Restaurants in St George, UT. Staff was friendly and the service was good. Followed-up with flavorful tasting food at a decent price. Portions are also filling. I would recommend!

I usually like ernesto’s, but this evening, I ordered the enchilada verda with chicken for takeout. The meal looked like something off of a kids’ menu. When I took the food back in to bring it to their attention, the guy working seemed to not are that the food was not the correct proportion. I told him I had ordered this same meal multiple times, and it is one of the biggest meals they have and that I was not pleased with it. But again, he did not care. So I just took the food and left. After getting home and tasting the food, something is definitely not right. The food was not good. I hope the owner will do something about this issue because in my mind Ernesto’s is one of the better Mexican restaurants in town. Usually.

This is my only Mexican restaurant. I’ve been going here for years. The food is amazing, the service can’t be beat. They know me and my husband, they even seat us at the same table in a quiet corner. I have anxiety and I can’t handle the noise. I ❤️ you guys

Poor service. Below average Mexican food. I waited forever for someone to acknowledge me and then I waited forever for someone to bring me my check. It seems like they are incredibly short staffed. The people waiting on customers appear to be also working in the kitchen. I might try again to be fair. Perhaps they had a very bad day because my experience was very bad.

I will try anything twice. First time with a friend I got the cheese enchiladas because I wasn’t very hungry. It was ok. But you can’t really mess that up. Sauce was just ok, I’ve definitely had better. Wasn’t worth taking leftovers home. Second time I got a chicken taco salad. They use very low quality ingredients. Chicken was mostly gristle, fat and ligaments, tasted like it was a week old. Lettuce was soggy and wasn’t fresh. Shell was the only thing that was good. I can’t recommend this place.

The food was great! Wasn’t sure if I could trust the google reviews but my wife and I decided to give them a shot. It was the bomb .com! Chips and salsa were awesome, my taco was delicious and my burrito was satisfying. I did think they were slightly skimpy on the rice and beans but we left full and happy anyway. Staff was great and super friendly and… they kept the chips and salsa coming without having to ask. I will mos def come here again!!!

Food was ok at most. The steak fajitas was hard. Chicken fajitas was pretty good but everything was bathing in oil! My husband liked his burrito but he’s not as picky as me. Also considering that when we arrived the restaurant was not crowded, we waited a very long time to receive our food.
