Decided to try out Ernesto’s last Sunday 3/1/2026 and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was very quiet but friendly there was Latin music playing in the background and just a chill overall vibe. I ordered shrimp Baha tacos and my boyfriend had beef enchiladas both were fresh and very good. I also had the Guava Margarita on the rocks and it was really good. I will def be back. Out server( can’t remember her name) was so nice and she made it worth coming

Ernesto’s in Prosper is a great place to eat. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. The food is yummy, fresh. I was also impressed with how fast the service was, everything came out quickly without any delay. This place truly deserves more attention. If you are looking for good food and a nice dining experience, Ernesto’s is definitely worth a visit.

We came here after another place was packed and I’m so glad we did! Our server Gilbert was so amazing!! Super fun, attentive and brought the energy!! Definitely what we needed to start our Friday night off. Drinks are strong so let them know if you want it toned down a notch!

I’ve used Ernesto’s for Catering on multiple occasions and they always provide fantastic on-time food that everyone loves! The Mini Chimichangas are always a hit and Fajitas are a crowd-pleaser. This last time I had them deliver and setup and it was worth every penny to have them do it all. Thank you Miguel & Team!

Everything was great, the food portions are huge. Pacifico can feed two people and everything else tasted well.
The only negative is the lighting, it’s not very good, where we sat we couldn’t even see the menu. Other areas were super bight and the light colors are mismatched.

Wifey surprised us with dinner / takeout earlier. The food was EXCELLENT. The meat was ALL seasoned beautifully, cooked to perfection, and full of flavor. The toppings were all fresh and made for some truly delicious / authentic tacos. A definite revisit for us all and unanimous 5-star votes from every member of the family (no easy task).

Family friendly local tex-mex restaurant! There’s a kids menu my preschoolers colored on, and the chips and salsa were to my liking! (Flavorful but not mouth on fire style)
Chile relleno and the bacon wrapped jumbo shrimp were awesome!
