We bought five lobsters from Toby to take back to Maryland, and he packed them so expertly in our cooler that they stayed fresh for the full 36 hours until we cooked them. They were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend getting your lobster here. We also tried the seafood counter on site, and it was just as fantastic.

Excellent food, lobster roll and haddock sandwich made to perfection. We are from Pennsylvania and we make Erica’s a must stop every time we get to Maine. Tom is always gracious to help us pack lobster for our drive home.

There are so many lobster shacks, and we’re glad we picked Erica’s. Just so you know, it’s cash only, so be prepared. Also, do like the locals and bring your own drinks–we didn’t know that we’d be buying drinks from a vending machine and wished we had brought some. We got a Lobster Roll, two fried baskets, and the Lobster Melt. The service staff was very patient as we tried to navigate the menu. We had to wait a little bit for the food, but it seemed manageable. The lobster roll was great–just lobster and butter, warm, which is my preference. The fried scallops were the big hit among the fried things, but the whole belly clams, shrimp, and oysters were delicious too. It was pretty foggy, so we didn’t get an expansive view, but we enjoyed sitting outside with our food. We would go back, next time with more cash and drinks!

Stunning lobster roll! Fairly priced. Picnic seating area right on bay. Plenty of options available and lobster by the lb. Would highly recommend swinging by if you have the time.

I had some high hopes after eating at Dolphin’s right across the parking lot.
We showed up at about 615 on Tuesday and we were able to walk up and order without waiting. The food came to us promptly and we were seated without an issue.
The kids had chicken fingers and french fries. They had a large portion and they were able to split the meal.
My wife and I ordered a lobster roll and onion rings and some fries clams with French fries. First, the lobster roll was ok. I personally feel like it was under seasoned but that’s easily correctable with the provided salt packets. The onion rings were just mediocre.
The fries clams were soggy with oil. I get the feeling that they were fried in oil that was too cold. The fries were definitely homemade, but again, soggy.
Honestly, everything was under seasoned, soggy, or greasy. We had a much better meal the night before.

Delicious lobster roll! They give a plentiful amount of lobster in the rolls, super fresh, I was impressed. Coleslaw side was also very good, not much if any mayo and more a light pickled flavor. Service was fast and friendly. Nice casual spot along the water, can bring your own wine and enjoy the food and scenery on the bench eating area outside. Would highly recommend. Cash only, ATM available inside.

I visited Erica’s Seafood for the first time last month and I have been back every week since then. Food is incredible and staff is super friendly as well! I would recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Maine seafood spot to eat with an incredible view!

Great spot for a beautiful view and delicious seafood. We got the haddock baskets and sat at a picnic table with a great view. Only negative is that they don’t take credit cards. Bring cash!!
The fries were not my favorite…thin and well done. I prefer thicker and crispy.

What an authentic local find. It’s a hyperlocal lobster shack & seafood business. Husband runs the business, wife runs the shack. Was really windy so couldn’t get a good pic of the delicious lobstah roll. The onion rings were to die for. We had the very fresh fried haddock too.

This is my favorite place in Maine. I drove up a couple of years ago to eat fresh lobster, but all the restaurants I tried were overpriced and not very fresh. I stumbled upon this place somewhere on the internet and took a massive detour just to try it out. Since then, I’ve been driving up 10 hours once a year to satisfy my lobster cravings.
The first time I visited, lobster was around 4 to 6 dollars per pound. It’s a bit more these days, which is expected with inflation, but it’s never overpriced. After trying almost everything on the menu, my favorite is the lobster roll. The bun is perfect, and the lobster filling is all about the lobster — nothing too heavy or distracting. I always end up eating at least three rolls before driving the 10 hours back home.
I hope I can come back again soon.
