Came in today to an empty lobby, and no staff anywhere in sight. We stood at the counter for over 5 minutes (all while we could hear the employees in the back laughing and playing), before we were even acknowledged.
The young female employee with the attitude, had made our food with no hair net, and dare I say intentionally ruined our food out of spite we ruined their worktime laughing play session.
My sandwich specifically was absolutely disgusting. It was so memorable in a bad way, where I will never spend another dime at any Erbert & Gerberts. When I mentioned she intentionally ruined our food, let me give an example… There was so much fluid in my Goliath sandwich, that the bread was completely saturated to the point it was nasty mush. The fluid was running out of the wrapper, into the bag onto the other food, making a disaster of things. There were no napkins included for the disaster she made for us.
Needless to say my meal was completely gross and inedible, coupled with terrible service and workers intentionally ruining customers food. What a colossal waste of money, time, and still had to go buy other food elsewhere.
I cannot recommend this establishment in good faith, under any circumstance, to anyone whatsoever.

Been on an Erbs & Gerbs kick after remembering it exists (usually spouse orders on his account for pickup and everything has gone well); ordered on my account tonight & 2 of 3 sandwiches were made incorrectly (one with an ingredient that is a true allergy to, not just a slight reaction or “dislike”) for the person. With everything ordered & tipping, spent $60 for incorrect (and actually potentially deadly bs)… there went the re-newed love for erbs & gerbs, because that isn’t worth it. * Husband did call to try to speak to someone, but no manager on until “probably morning* *facepalm* If nobody is available tomorrow either, will likely dispute a portion of the transaction with my bank (the legitimately non edible part) USAA isn’t big on their members being worked over.

While I understand a family managed business and teens needing to work, when a children and preteens are argueing with the older teen/adult about washing their hands and being reminded its the rule is a turn off. Made me question if the kid who made our food had washed his hands.

Thought I’d give it one more try ….Not surprising, they failed me. Pictured is an almost 11.00 buffalo chicken sub + jalepinos,+ cucumbers and plus, you ready …. Heavy lettuce. Everytime I ask for heavy lettuce and yet every time I get a overpriced, under satisfying sub from Erberts and Gerbets. I am done with them, you get the best value from SW, the best sub (locally) is from Jersey Mike’s.

I brought my grandson here after his orthodontist appt. He loves this place, has short term memory issues so remembering his favorite order is challenging. He ordered what he wanted, their was no “guts” his favorite part. I asked the sand which maker and he didn’t get “guts”. He was teary but we were moving on. The sandwich maker walked over to our table and offered him the “ guts” from a different order that didn’t want them. Day made!!!! She didn’t have to go out of her way but this lady gets my gratitude❤️ Thank you for making his day, this grandma is thankful
