I have been here a few times for dinner in various nights. There is plenty of parking and the restaurant is tucked in the corner of the shopping center. They are always very busy with to go orders and folks walking in to eat. The food is always very good. Fresh and made to order. The restaurant has about 6, 4 tops and is cozy. The staff are always professional and keep our drinks filled and again make sure we are happy with our choices. Tonight I got the eggplant and my daughter got the red curry. Both delicious. Spring rolls also very good. Take the time to visit you won’t be disappointed.

The best Thai food I’ve had in Medford. It’s tucked away in a complex near Tinseltown. This mom and pop shop is so cozy and cute – perfect for date night! We tried the glass noodle soup and Thai BBQ chicken with rice and an amazing spicy honey sauce. Food quality and taste are comparable to the Bay Area and NYC. Prices are very fair – it was $30 for two!

I got takeout and purchased two of my favorites dishes to compare to my experience at Thai Gardens. I felt the food flavor was bland. Portion size was good and the pricing was good. However, I was disappointed in the food. Lack of flavor!

I was in the middle of a very busy work day and wanted to get a to go order in between appointments. I walked in and told the lady I was going to get a to go order but needed to use the restroom real quick. After that, I grabbed the menus and had decided on an item but then the lady grabbed the lunch special menu and said no to go orders from that menu so I sat down to look through the big menu. I didn’t want to spend 20 plus dollars with tip for lunch so I let her know that I’d come back another time when I could stay. She mumbled something that sounded like she was disgruntled as I was leaving and I asked her what she said and she said “If you wanted to use the bathroom, you could have asked nicely and I would have let you!” Insinuating id only come in to use her restroom! I was dressed in a collared shirt with my work badge on. I said “I actually did intend to order but wanted something from the lunch special menu” she said “no! We don’t do that!” OK lady, I got it but that’s why I said “I’d try it another time when I could dine in” but with how rude she was and accusing me of just trying to use her restroom with no intention of ordering, I won’t be returning. I gave 3 stars because I couldn’t rate the food but the service was rude and also wanted to let other working professionals know that there is no option to get lunch specials to go. I wish them the best and hope she will hold her assumptions to herself in the future if she cares about growing her business and acquiring new and loyal customers.

Wow, what a great authentic Thai find! We were just in the city for one night, and this was perfect. You know you’re in the right place when your host has limited English. The subtle curry flavours both of our dishes were some of the best I’ve had.

Tasty neighborhood Thai restaurant. Ordered take out in person (since that’s what others said in reviews), 5 dishes ready in 25 minutes, fast service! Interesting menu beyond the standard items.
Remarkably good pumpkin curry – deliciously spiced and the favorite of the dishes ordered, and appropriate for October :).
Pad Thai decent and simple. Tom Kha Chicken creamy, good, could use more aromatics. Beef Larb a little dry could use more toasted rice and sauce – also good! Appetizer sampler a great value with a good variety of flavors. (Would give 4.5 stars for the critiques of the food, but rounding up since it’s local and small business.)
Excited to go again and try new things, will definitely get the pumpkin curry again though!
Edit: closed until June 11th, 2024

Nestled in a back corner of a small strip mall. Don’t judge this place by the cover. Outstanding Thai cuisine! Fantastic service and incredible menu filled with Thai / US classics to authentic dishes. Worth a visit or several.

I just love the owner of Erawan. She’s friendly and accommodating, always being sure to offer items from her shelf of neatly stacked to-go condiments and utensils. Also these people are pros at packing to-go orders, to ensure the steam escapes instead of overcooking your entrees.
It’s a bonus that they have the best Pad Kee Mao and Pad Thai you can find in Southern Oregon. Their Pad Thai is not that cloyingly sweet and/or ketchup-y orange/brown that you find everywhere else. Plus I love the little bits of tofu that come in it alongside your choice of protein.
I can’t help but roll my eyes when people complain that they don’t answer their phone. I’ve worked in restaurants that were fully staffed, and at times literally every employee would be with a table or customers at the door/bar, resulting in brief periods of missed phone calls.
Erawan is a 2-person show, run by 1 in the front-of-house and 1 in the back-of-house. If they don’t answer, they’re busy – keep trying! They have reopened for dine-in service, so if it’s still just the two of them, color me impressed.
Before I ever tried Erawan, a good friend told me their food tasted much like it did when she was in Thailand. While I’ve not yet been to Thailand, I can definitely say their food is made with fresh, quality ingredients and always consistent.
