From walking to walk out very nice experience. The waitress was pleasant. The food was fresh, soft and delicious. Got the garden omelet with chicken added, she got the fajita omelette and loved it. Lots to eat at a fair price especially these days. Certainly will be back.

I stopped by Eppie’s in West Sacramento for breakfast since I drive by all the time! The service was decent since my the server was on break. I had another server keep my coffee flowing, which I appreciated. I waited a while at the table to pay, but I ended up paying up front. I’m not sure if that was the proper way, but I couldn’t wait forever.
The food was solid and pretty much what you’d expect from a classic diner. I had the fresh spinach omelette with fruit and it was good breakfast. There appeared to be other reliable breakfast options that I would want to try from the menu.
Overall, this was a good place to grab breakfast if you’re in the area and want something simple and consistent. I’d come back to check out the other menu items.

People are always talking about supporting local Businesses, well of all the local restaurants in the West Sacramento area, THIS IS ONE THAT COULD & SHOULD BE SUPPORTED! They are the best people, the construction of the freeways has drastically cut into their business, which wasn’t as supported as they shoulda been BEFORE THE CONSTRUCTION! The only Eppies restaurant still in business. The owner is a super great person. Treats everyone like they are the most important customer they have.
The food is very good and the sizes are huge for the prices. Please try to stop by and do support the last historical local Eppies restaurant!

One of my favorite things is to find a great diner and eat delicious food. Sure, Michelin stars and servers in slacks and tablecloths are lovely. But I LOVE diners. And some of the best food and people are to be found there in my experience.
Eppies is one of those places.
I finally heeded the days long call for biscuits and gravy and decided to try Eppies today.
And I’m SO happy I did because this place is a hidden gem!
It’s very clean, relaxed and has the nicest servers around.
If I had more time I would have happily dined in, but my review today is for the to-go experience.
I had the country scramble and onion rings-don’t judge me I skipped breakfast!
The scramble was so good and exactly what I wanted. The gravy was subtle but I appreciated the generous portion and sausages.
The onion rings were crispy and perfectly breaded not too heavy. Everything was well packaged and arrived back at home ready to eat.
I think if you’re traveling on the 80/50 or a local resident you should absolutely give Eppies a try!
They also seem very family friendly, with patient and kind servers who won’t get upset at tiny picky eaters and their exhausted parents.
Can’t wait to go back and try their steak sandwich next!

I ordered the pancake breakfast with eggs and sausage, which was very good. My husband enjoyed the breakast sampler platter. We were happy that Eppies was open on Christmas day. Staff were attentive, friendly and efficient. Holiday decorations were festive. It was apparent that many customers were regular clientele.

Excellent service always! But I just have to say that, I’m not sure if it was the manager speaking with one of the servers, (short lady with an apron on) but I did not like the way she was speaking to the poor girl. I don’t write reviews.. ever.. but this I had to say. Unacceptable.. I could not imagine how she speaks to her employees when no one else is around. These girls work hard and treat all of us customers like we are family.

Great food every time I go here I’m never disappointed. It’s not flash your fancy but I’m pretty sure they make a lot of their food from scratch. I had some soup and a half sandwich the other day and I couldn’t stop eating the soup. Any chance I can I go there to eat also they have a great dinner menu. It’s like some meat mashed potatoes and the vegetables. Everything’s always cooked pretty good. Go check it out cool place to have a business meeting with a coworker.

Food was gross except for fries. Small amount of food for the cost. No way the burger was 1/2 lb and even if it started that weight it must have been mostly fat. Overcooked as well. I’ve had much better burgers for a comparable price. Cobb salad was rather small for the price and dull ingredients. We won’t be returning.
