My husband forewarned me about some of the poor reviews for this place, but i thought we’d give it a try. Yikes! We won’t be back. We were charged more for each item then the posted price on the menu. The carne asada burrito was bland, super quesadilla was okay but greasy – really subpar for a restaurant. Quality of food was comparable to fast food joint Alibertos, but cost alot more. Side of pico that came with my quesadilla was spoiled. Chips were stale. Tres leches cake tasted like the refrigerator, was also over priced. None of the food tasted fresh. Nice decor and ambiance, pleasant staff. Empty restaurant which tells me others have had a similar experience.

Please don’t waste your money eating here! Tacos had potatoes in it! Burrito tasted like a ball of salt with pork and beans, tortilla was hard just like the chips. Asked for a different basket of chips. Still the same almost broke my husband’s tooth!! Salsa tasted like water and ketchup with herbs. Never again

We are traveling technicians, therefore we eat many places and is restaurant surprised us…. The place was running with only ONE (I repeat, 1 person). The food is great! We bring our fifteen month old here at least once a week and have no problems. Service can be a little slow, especially when there are only two people working but it is 100% worth the wait!

The staff was polite and the restaurant clean but the salsa tasted like spicy ketchup the rice and beans bland. We paid $54 for 4 tacos, 2 orders of rice and beans and 2 softdrinks. Disappointing.

It’s hard to believe the low reviews. We have sat here and ordered to go. Every experience has been consistent, the food has been well worth the price point. The prices is very average for any restaurant in Benicia for the people mentioning price. The women that run this place are very sweet and take care of their customers.
