If you want to raise your blood pressure for how insanely and overly salty the food here is, then go ahead. I walked in and asked the cashier what his favorite food was and his recommendation, he told me the brisket and birria were the best and he loved them.
So of course I ordered them, the prices were steep but it was understandable due to it being in such a pretty food court like the Anaheim Packing District. The food came out and it looked visually appealing. Until I took a bite into it is when everything changed. Both the birria meat and brisket meat tasted like someone poured a bunch of salt into it, making it literally inedible. Even the mediocre lime slices and pico de gallo could not save it.
It was all such an enticing ploy, the food smelled great and it looked very visually appealing. But do not be fooled, it tastes horrible, extremely inedibly salty, and the brisket was drier than a desert. An overpriced waste of money for $17 of 2 sorry excuses of 2 inedible tacos.
The funny part is that when the digital kiosk pay screen requested for a tip, the lowest possible requested tip option to give was 20%. What service am I even paying for with bored looking workers who don’t even know what their own salty food tastes like?
0/10.

I had the ½ chicken and it was almost moist- may have been a cooked a bit ago. The BBQ flavor is very mild but present. It came with pickled onions and jalapenos- and those were ok as well. The sauces are excellent and you can tell they put their heart there. The rice and beans side was bland and nothing to talk about. A bit expensive for what you get.

BBQ is definitely what you want to get here. The burnt ends and guacamole were a different combination but it was delicious. There’s indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely recommend

Amazing! We left a different BBQ place and came here and was so worth it. We had the the wagyu chili cheese nachos, smoked wagyu birria burger, bbq brisket burger and the prime brisket bowl and everything was amazing. So good we forgot to take pictures. I’m so happy we ended up here and we would definitely come back. Great, happy, fast service and good vibes. Yall were amazing!

We came as a party of five on the recommendation of another local chef and were absolutely delighted that we made this the closing meal of our week in LA! The brisket, picanha, and burnt ends were all spot on. One of us doesn’t really enjoy meat and still had a great time with all the lovely sides. Chef Jess made a personal recommendation to complete the meal with a banana pudding, which rounded the palate and we left the place in our happy places. Thank you, chefs and crew, for being our highlight in LA and giving us a feeling of family at the table!

Everything at Encultura BBQ was smoked to perfection! The brisket bowl was absolute heaven — layers of creamy mashed potatoes on the bottom soaking up all that rich, smoky flavor from the brisket. The brisket burger was incredibly juicy and mouthwatering, packed with that perfect BBQ char. If you want to sample a bit of everything, the BBQ platter is definitely the way to go — every meat was tender, flavorful, and expertly smoked. And don’t skip the Pineapple Prohibition drink — it’s massive, refreshing, and totally lives up to its name. An amazing find inside the Anaheim Packing District!

Delicious! I stumbled upon this place while standing in line for another restaurant. I’m so glad my senses told me to go over there. The staff were super friendly and inviting. They offered free samples. The brisket was so tender. I will be back! Thank you guys!

Sunday, early evening. Inside is for takeaway order it seems. You have to hang out at the bar for sit down. Bar top was sticky, the bartender was working solo so it took 10 minutes to order my beer, and the music was loud (presumably the age old trick of blasting music so that people eat or drink and leaver quicker). Doesn’t sound all that great, right? Agree, but, their saving grace was the tri tip bowl and a cold beer. The combination of flavors of the bowl were just fantastic. I’d do takeaway if I ever visit the packing district again.

Cannot put into words how amazing this place is. We tried both concepts, the build you own style and the bbq menu. Bbq was amazing, we got all the Wagyu meats. The guacamole with burnt ends is a must. The lamb and picanha were the stars of the show. I went with friends but got my wife a build you own burrito to go. When I got home, I tried a bite of the burrito and it was phenomenal. Miles better than chipotle or anything similar. Overall, this place is an 11/10 and it’s also Halal! Highly recommend to everyone in the area whether you’re looking for a quick meal or a plate of meat

My husband and I come to the packing house every Saturday night. We decided to try this new restaurant and it was the worst experience we have ever had. Staff didn’t have proper training, and don’t know their menu. WAY over priced for the quality of meal. We chose chicken tinga and brisket bowls. The 2 bowls costed us $61.38, no drinks. They charge $6 extra for one tablespoon of guacamole. The food was not even warm, clearly been sitting out and old. The amount of meat given was way too small. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!
