This place has great pizza and other Italian-style fare in a casual atmosphere. Neapolitan-style pizza baked in a wood-fired oven. Their unique salad creations are excellent as well. Located in the historic and scenic downtown area where there is plenty of public parking available.

This place has got to have the hottest staff in Cape G. So, get this – I walk in and Dyami is slapping some pizza dough with his tight gloves on – Cody is in there spraying off the dishes gettin all cleeeeean – and then Braxton greets me with a face that could be carved onto a Greek statue. 10/10 wonderful aesthetics. This is by far the best pizza eating experience I have had in Cape Girardeau. Being immediately greeted by a huge wood burning pizza oven was the first of many good signs we had.
The staff was so friendly and casual, treating you like a person and not a customer. The menu was simple and straightforward, but had plenty of adventurous options for the those chasing a flavor high.
The pizza came out and served fresh and hot. The crust was perfectly charred but retained an impossibly fluffy and airy base.
I really mean impossible. It was so delicious I could not believe it. And that’s not even talking about the toppings and cheese!
We ordered the Pepperoni + Hot Honey pizza and the Encore Alfredo Pizza and had plenty left over of the most delicious pizza I have ever had.

My fiancé and I had an incredible experience at Encore Pizzeria + Kitchen. The food was absolutely phenomenal—we split two pizzas: the Vodka Chicken Parm and the Alfredo Pizza, along with an order of their Chicken Fried Potato and the Chopped BLT Salad with avocado ranch. Every bite was memorable, but I honestly have to say—this is the best pizza I’ve ever had.
Before ordering, I asked for clarification on the Chicken Fried Potatoes since there wasn’t a description on the menu. For anyone wondering, they’re slices of potato with a crispy fried chicken-style breading (no actual chicken), served with their signature fry sauce—which was delicious, offering a sweet and tangy flavor that complemented the crispiness perfectly.
The Alfredo Pizza was super creamy and flavorful, while the Chicken Parm Pizza had amazing depth and richness. The Chicken Fried Potatoes were perfectly crisped and addictive. The Chopped BLT Salad was fresh and flavorful—the only minor note is that the bacon bits could’ve been chopped smaller, as they were a bit hard, but still really tasty since it’s real bacon.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were fantastic. Overall, 10 out of 10 would recommend. We’re already planning to come back!

The service was promt and friendly. The pizza was delishious and freshly hand tossed…cooked to perfection. The Hot Honey Fries are an epicurian delight! I’ll never use ketchup again!!

Not many customers when I came in but they seemed to be working on takeout orders. They didn’t pressure me to order quickly and gave me time to look over the menu. Once I was ready they took my order fairly quickly, didn’t ask me about add-ons other than the free parm and pepper. Got my food out fairly quick for ordering in for takeout. The music wasn’t too loud, the lights weren’t too bright, the atmosphere was very welcoming and the staff were all very friendly! My mom and I have found a new favorite pizza place! 12/10 would recommend.
