The food is gorgeously plated, tasty, and get this … reasonably priced for a sit down service. The staff are welcoming. The place is beautifully decorated. Great design aesthetics. Modern, high end resort feels.

I dropped in on a late lazy Fall Sunday afternoon and sat at an interior table with an open window view of street and shops. The Hubs ordered two crispy shell Diablo ground beef tacos (minus the crema) with beans n rice $16. He enjoyed the flavor of the meat. Not bad pricing either. I ordered pozole $18. The bowl was huge, bigger than my Charlie Brown head. It was served with tortillas and the usual condiments (chopped onions, cilantro, oregano, chilies). The flavors were mild. But I had leftovers and the next day, boy the flavors were way tastier ( spot on) with the profile. Mmm. The complementary chips and
salsa were darn delicious. The chips were crisp and sturdy and held well against scooping up the salsa and bite. The salsa had great flavors and a nice thickish consistency.

The place is exuding ambiance. Modern, fresh design aesthetics that have unpretentious, upscale vibes but that’s family friendly. Yes meaning bring the kiddos, but parents still gotta parent. Vibing first date, special occasion, or another family dining outing. I was vibing all three feels on a vacation mode feel even though it was just me and the Hubs (old ball n chain for a zillion years).

Besides the interior dining area, there is an outdoor patio and an interior bar. For folks that have a difficult time or just plain don’t like walking stairs, you can park in the upper parking lot to north side of the movie theater. There is another lot as well on the south side of the theater, however the north side is closer. It will bring you to the restaurant level without having to climb the stairs from the ground level. The walk has no incline involved. Even better, I’ll save my glute workout for another time.

this was our first time at encanto, so we didn’t really know what to expect! they have a great outside seating area with tons of umbrellas to provide shade! when you walk in you’re greeted by the hostess. we got sat right away and decided to sit at the bar to watch the niners game. the bar is BEAUTIFUL with a huge display of all their tequila options. we ordered right away and the food came out pretty quick. service was great; very attentive staff. my only complaint is their chips and salsa were a little womp womp. the chips in our dish tasted homemade and SO much better and more fresh. will absolutely be back to try some of their other options and cocktails!

We are from Northern Cali and all I can say it was one of the best experiences that we ever had, fearless by eating at your mom’s house if you’re Hispanic. The quality of the food and service was amazing. The indoor/outdoor experience what’s phenomenal. Takes you to an enchanted place words can’t describe that feeling. Great prices for the quality of the food and service it’s at the Top of my list for the most authentic food I’m friendly service makes you feel like you’re eating at home with family simply priceless!!

Here’s a polished but still honest and balanced version you can post:

We had dinner at Encanto in El Dorado Hills for the first time and had mixed feelings about our experience. It started off on a high note — the hostess was incredibly friendly and seated us at a lovely table, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

Unfortunately, the service didn’t match that strong first impression. After our waiter initially stopped by for drink orders, we didn’t see him again for quite a while. It took over 15 minutes to receive our drinks, and we eventually had to flag him down to place our food order after sitting for more than half an hour. When he asked if we wanted to start with appetizers at that point, it felt a little out of sync given how long we had already been waiting.

I really enjoyed my burrito — it was flavorful and well prepared. My sister, however, wasn’t impressed with her chicken fajitas. Throughout the meal, our waiter didn’t check in on us, and although we requested drink refills toward the end of the evening, they never arrived. We also had to ask for the check and then wait again to close out.

The ambiance is great and the food (at least mine) was good, but the slow and inattentive service made the evening frustrating. I’m not sure we would return unless the service improves.

Honestly this place is awesome, cool environment great staff, went on a date last night to a movie and had dinner there cause its right next to the theater. We shared a order of the taco special which was cheese stuffed pablano peppers with skirt steak and they were phenomenal, we also shared a order of the Baja fish tacos and they were great as well. All the flavors were on point and had a good kick on the spice level. Definitely going back.

We had such an amazing experience here! The restaurant has a beautiful, upscale atmosphere but still feels warm and welcoming even with kids. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure our little ones were comfortable while still giving us that fine dining experience.

The food was absolutely outstanding, fresh, authentic Mexican flavors with a modern twist. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, from the appetizers to the desserts. The cocktails were top notch too!

It’s not easy to find a place in the area that feels upscale yet family friendly, but this restaurant is it. We’ll definitely be coming back!

My mom and I came here for our birthday as we are born 2 days apart. I told them ahead of time and they did nothing to celebrate. The food was great but when I asked for a second glass of wine she never came back. She ignored us. FYI The first glass was filled so low! When I asked for a second she smirked at me so it makes sense she ignored my request for a second one. The service at this place is just really bad.

We enjoyed dinner after a movie. This was during the “soft opening” as they worked to get the kinks out of their systems.
At the door, we were greeted by a warm and friendly hostess.
The ambience was upbeat and inviting with a great decor.
Our server was friendly and helpful, recommending several different dishes.
Once the food arrived, I dug right in, before I remembered to take pictures.
Fresh, hot tortilla chips and a spicy homemade salsa helped make it easier to wait for the entree.
The chicken tortilla soup was delicious, deep flavor and just the right amount of heat.
The fish tacos were also delicious.
Plate presentation was appealing and the price was reasonable for the area.

As a supporter of local businesses/Mexican food lover and an amateur mixologist, I was eager to try out and promote this new tequila bar and had high hopes for their margaritas and possibly tequila tasting for our rare date night. However, I was disappointed to find that even their classic margaritas were diluted and lacked balance. I also ordered a $14 basil and watermelon margarita that arrived without a garnish or a clean chili salt rim, now c’mon, and it too lacked the promised flavors so had to return. Furthermore, the food was subpar, with oily and soggy calamari, bland guacamole, and salsa. Overall, I was disappointed with the experience and had to leave before ordering main dishes. I felt awful to be this guy especially to a waiter who was nice and accommodating.

To the business owner, I want to emphasize that your location and interior design are fantastic in all of EDH town center, but I would strongly suggest improving the quality of the food and drinks. This is imperative to the success of a restaurant, and enhance the customer experience. I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to give your restaurant another chance in the future.
