Really great cafe! We had Diana as our server and she was super nice! I got a special which was a patty melt/ruben combined and it was so good!! The corned beef was some of the best I’ve had! The thousand island was amazing too, made in house. Would definitely be back, ask for Diana if you come!

We ate here a couple of times during our stay in Plains. Lunch was excellent. We followed up with a warm huckleberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream. So delicious. The second time we went in was strictly for dessert. We had a huckleberry peach cobbler and a huckleberry cinnamon roll.

WOW. WOW, WOW, what a great little roadside cafe!! Fresh REAL homemade comfort foods!! I had the Murry’s Hungry Man Country Fried Steak. HUGE piece of meat, deliciously seasoned, and covered in the BEST mushoom, onion & brown gravy I have EVER HAD!! Amazing is all I can say!! One of my friends had the Chicken Ambasodor meal…he said it was super awesome too!!
I had stopped in earlier in the day before I checked into my hotel room right across the street. I was looking forward to a fresh slice of Huckleberry pie. Sadly, the last piece had already been served. Soooo I went for a piece of cherry & a slice of rubarb. Just like grandmas!!! Top notch extremely delicious handmade fresh pies!!! It went down smoothly with a couple of cups of fresh hot coffee… made this road weary, motorcyclist day!!
I very highly recommend this as a stop if you are in the area +/- a 100 miles (well worth the drive!!)
The waitress was prompt, kind, and attentive! The owner (Murry) is a great guy, spoke with him a bit, he has a great since of humor and a very kind, friendly personality!!
Unfortunately, we was deep in conversation when our food came, so I missed taking pics of my chicken fried steak.

What a place, AWESOME! Great service and really wonderful treats for the palate. Em has a heart of gold and a real heart for what she does in the kitchen. It is like visiting a part of the family in regards to comfort and atmosphere. April is a delight as the lady who usually waits on us and always nice to visit with her. Stop by when you are in Plains and enjoy a delicious meal.

Ate here 2 mornings in a row after staying at the hotel across the street. Great specials and their food was good. Very friendly staff. Loved that they had so many booth seats and were way more comfortable than chairs at other places.

A must stop!! On our way to Glacier National Park we stopped by for lunch.
The Ruben and Santa Fe Melt were delicious, the Huckleberry cobbler definitely hit the spot.

I was thrilled about the change to frying in beef tallow, but disappointed with the Sysco “food” quality. Especially for the price. What’s the point of frying in tallow if the fries are still pre-made with soybean oil? When you stop eating that kind of “food” regularly you notice how sick you feel after eating it. Staff was nice though.

I have never been to a restaurant where the owner personally opens the door and welcomes you in. Exceptional! Highly, highly recommend this cute little restaurant, and so happy it is here in my little town! Burger was excellent!
