This review is long overdue! Ate there spontaneously with my aunt last Christmas and was so excellently surprised! Growing up in coeur d’Alene but having lived in Seattle for almost 20 years, I was not expecting such delicious Afghan food here in downtown cda! The flavors are excellent and the food is traditionally not spicy by nature as far as I know- so it’s such an excellent place to start branching out your palate with or will be an delicious option for anyone familiar with this food. The staff were also exceptionally friendly and educational with out being demeaning which can be a tricky line to walk.
Cannot suggest enough and want to keep this place buys and lucrative in downtown cda!

This place is amazing! My husband and I were in town from Atlanta and found it accidentally, and the food was beyond delicious.
The flavors are flavors you may have never experienced but will be so glad you did! And the portions are huge. Plus the service was fantastic.
We wish we had a place like this close to us! We can’t recommend it enough.

This restaurant deserves 5.0 stars and a Michelin star.
The waitress told us about her boyfriend and the cook, who opened this restaurant to bring authentic food to CDA, hoping to immerse the locals and tourists in an atmosphere of amazing teas, hearty hot food and delicious kebabs. Everything we ordered was a 100/10.
I had a kebab duo(recommend the Lamb), my boyfriend and I had naan bread with a delicious lentil and beef stew dip, and he had the equivalent of an Afghan pasta stuffed with delicious beef, tomato, and herbs you can’t get anywhere but Emran.
Please come experience their conversation-pit booths. It’s closer to upscale than their sign indicates. Did I mention it’s with walking distance to ALL the bars???

Great food! I got the Koobideh Kebab and it was big and tasty. My wife got the Lamb Kebah and that was very good was well. It’s a really cool restaurant. They also don’t play loud music you can can actually talk and have a conversation. I would recommend.
