The staff was pleasant and the place was clean. But the food was mediocre at best. I had chicken pad thai. It was pretty dry. I ordered it with medium heat and got zero heat, almost no flavor or chicken but a lot of big onion slices. Would not recommend this dish. My husband got the mongolian beef. He said it didn’t have any flavor and wasn’t spicy at all though the menu said it was. He said this dish also had a lot of big pices of onion. He doesn’t recommend that dish. Maybe their other food choices are good since they have other good reviews. But based on our experience we won’t be back.

Food was absolutely flavorless. I got shrimp Pad Thai carry out it didn’t have any vegetables or nothing in it. It had about six Shrimp and it was nothing but a bunch of wide noodles no onions, no vegetables no peanuts and it was so dry I couldn’t even eat it. It was just $20 throwed away . It didn’t even have any sauce in it.

Excellent traditional American Chinese food. They also have a Thai menu.
The food was hot, fresh and delicious. We had egg drop soup, egg rolls, chicken chow mein, General Tso chicken, and chicken pad Thai. All outstanding!
Service was prompt and friendly.
The atmosphere is bare bones but typical of this kind of place.
There were lots of people getting carry out orders while we were eating in.
Highly recommended!

Cheng’s Chinese Restaurant in The Villages continues to impress with its delectable dishes and exceptional service. On our recent visit, we enjoyed the Mongolian Beef and the General Tso Shrimp Combo, complete with fried rice and an egg roll.
The Mongolian Beef was tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice. The General Tso Shrimp was perfectly cooked shrimp in a tangy, slightly sweet sauce. The fried rice complemented the dish wonderfully, and the egg roll was crisp and tasty, adding a satisfying crunch to our meal.
Service at Cheng’s was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff making us feel welcome and well-cared-for. The restaurant’s warm and inviting atmosphere further enhanced our dining experience.
Cheng’s is our favorite spot for Chinese cuisine in The Villages. Highly recommended for anyone seeking delicious food and excellent service.

I live about an hour and a half from here. Every time I am anywhere near my husband insists I bring him home food. Hands down the best around. And the lady in the front is always the sweetest!

Awe just found out about this little hidden gem today it’s so cute and cozy. I love the little sit in area and the beautiful young lady took great care of me and my +1; the lunch specials were yummy and affordable and I loved my orange chicken. 10/10 I will definitely return if I’m in the area

A nice little restaurant to enjoy some nice Chinese food. Very clean and relaxing place with friendly service. The free pre meal fried wantons with sweet abs sour sauce AND the aftermeal fresh pineapple slices were a pleasant surprise. Lunch and dinner specials are available along with carryout options. Definately worth stopping by.

Cheng’s Chinese Restaurant in The Villages offers a sweet treat that stands out. These warm, soft and fluffy, melt in your mouth sweet dough nuggets with sugar coating are worth a trip on their own. There are about 6-8 pcs per order and the photo is the last one — large family and these went fast!

My favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. The food is great. But the lady that works here is fantastic. So consistent, fast, and nice. We will continue to come
