Reviews
I haven’t had hot & sour soup in the New Orleans area, so I was hesitant.
Upon entering, the establishment was clean and showed that it has frequent and consistent supporters.
Staff was welcoming and patient..
Ordering was easy and quick.
Timeliness was on point as well.
Based on my previous reviews – I will reiterate, I am a snob when it comes to Asian cuisine.
The hot & sour soup was more egg drop to me but packed major flavor!
It was also packed with fresh ingredients..
The shrimp was great. Battered perfectly, with a significant portion size.
Additional feedback, I would have preferred to have veggie fried rice with my sweet & sour shrimp, instead of combination fried rice as I do not eat land meat. Since, I couldn’t order that, I had to settle for white rice..
Other than that , I appreciate the food and hospitality!
I always order their fried mandarin chicken, it’s my favorite. The brown sauce that they use tastes amazing. And their portions are HUGE. You get a lot for your buck.
Go! You won’t be disappointed.
Oh! Also, their crab rangoon is the best I’ve tasted, and their egg rolls are so big and delicious!
The fish pond part looked old and in need of some TLC.
We sat but weren’t asked for drinks and no server came by to ask us anything while workers were sitting eating and others were up front chatting and showing each other their phones.
Very high dinner prices for Chinese food. Menu said an 18% gratuity on parties of 5 or more which means bad service.
We decided not to chance getting food poisoning or suffering bad service.
