Food is absolutely terrible. Fried rice ONLY tastes like white rice with soy sauce. Egg drop soup tastes like water with some egg in it, bland. Broccoli beef tastes and feels like if somebody charred straight fat. Chow mein looks like they pulled it out of their nose and put it on a plate. The delivery driver “Elizabeth” was complaining about how small the 10$ tip was for a 22$ order. Never ordering here again.

I ordered food at 9:30, online and DoorDash says they close at 10:30. They were still accepting orders and I placed mine. My delivery driver gets there and they’re closed, which didn’t get resolved till 10:10 which everything else was too late to order from at that point and I was starving. The hours aren’t right. But reading the reviews, it’s probably best they were closed and DD refunded my money.

Undoubtedly the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had out of at least a hundred places I’ve been to since as young as I can remember, took forever to deliver. Beef teriyaki sticks portions were crazy it’s like someone stuck small beef jerky on a stick and called it a day couldn’t even be called teriyaki no flavor. Mongolian beef was vegetables and beef in some bizarre liquid. Beef mei fun wasn’t even that bad but my stomach is still turning as I type(I can literally feel it greasing around in my stomach) so my overall impression of the place is it sucks there’s tons of other Chinese restaurants go anywhere else please I’m Begging you. (If you check my other reviews I’m either Absolutely impressed and awestruck at foods or absolutely disgusted.

Last night I placed an order around 10:30pm, and the food was absolutely great! We got the basic LoMein, Orange Chicken dinner, and Sweet and Sour. The delivery driver, Elizabeth was a fantastic person, her vibes and her personality just elevated the experience. She educated me on how this place got new owners, which the reviews are most likely under the old owners business, but dont sleep on Empire!! They are one of the best chinese places I’ve ate at in Jacksonville, reminded me so much of my favorite place back home!! Thank you all for the great food and great service

If I could give them negative stars I would. I’ll start off with the price. The menu did not match the actual price I ended up paying. When I included taxes I paid almost $7 more than I was supposed to. The rice must’ve been at least 24 to 36 hours old. The pork was barely even a thing in my meal. The chicken seemed to have been made with expired ingredients. The lady had a ton of attitude on the phone and I should’ve cancelled my order when she was arguing with me about questions that I had. I’ll put it to you like this, I rather eat MRE’s than order from this place again.

Employee was very rude and impatient. She kept hanging up on me. I never even got my food. I waited for 2 hours before ordering from somewhere else because she said it was on the way. Paid $30 for food i never got. If i could give this place 0 stars I would.

I ordered delivery, (2) duck, Mongolian beef, beef and broccoli all combo meals , seafood rice and egg drop soup. A total of $66.04! They added a $3 extra charge for no reason, I didn’t dispute, because imma count it as the tip, since once it seems as if me giving cash wasn’t an option. It took almost an hour to be delivered, the food came cold and the duck was just nasty! Wish I would’ve read reviews, but this is the first and definitely will be the last time ordering from here!

Food was borderline inedible. The quality of chicken was horrific. We threw it all away. The rice was terrible too. I usually like to give places the benefit of the doubt when reading reviews, but this is not the case with this location.
