Literally the best chicken on a stick ever!! It doesn’t raise my blood sugar.. You get six in an order and it’s very flavorful to boot. They will make special dishes for you not on the menu. Call in your order and save money than ordering on those apps for pick up!

I had given them 4 stars in the past, I’ve changed it to 1. However, this last visit was a different experience, the food from the buffet was not to safe temperatures. The center my broccoli was colder than room temperature. I asked my friend who was with me, she agreeded that none of items she took were got ither. It seemed as though they expected the hot food bar with pan wells to cook or at the very least bring the items to temperature. I talked to the man behind the counter. He showed me that underneath the pan wells there was steaming water. He told me to take from the center of the pan and near the bottom to get the hottest food. Telling me that the air-conditioner from above may have cooled the food on top, and that if you take from the top of the food it will always be cold. That you need to take from the bottom and center.

Emperor’s is clean and well run. It’s an excellent value for sure, but the food was lacking in flavor, overall. Al menos pude practicar mi español con una simpática chica mexicana. Friendly staff and decent location. Soft serve ice cream, too.

Not a single employee had a smile & everyone looked depressed. We were charged for our 1 year old son when it says only 3-9 years old should have been charged for. The name is Emporer’s buffet & grill but their grill is full of boxes and completely closed. The sushi was good & food was fine but certainly nothing special. I was also surprised that at no point did a busser come around to collect our finished plates from the table or check on our meal. They simply wanted to collect payment and do nothing else. There was a woman dining nearby that we overheard giving her plate to a lady working because she found hair in her food. I never heard an apology or any sort of compensation. Super disappointing trip. There are chinese restaurants in our area with much better class, hygeine, service, and food.

First timer and I would return. There was a variety of food and sushi. The cost was reasonable, however I thought it was odd there was no discount for children. The food was fresh and tasted good. The environment is clean and quiet. As others noted, the employees aren’t the most friendly but they aren’t rude either. Our finished plates were cleared quickly and the food was kept fresh and ready.

Not a huge buffet but everything was good. Service was quick and friendly. This buffet is a great value at the price. The sushi selection was good and they were excellent for being a buffet.

Right price for the experience. Very clean facility. Had a sushi bar aside from the 3 “Islands” of food. Some of my favorites were the peanut chicken, sushi, and rice. I say rice because a lot of other Chinese buffets have the crusty, dried rice on the sides of the rice cooker but this one had none so to me that’s pretty fresh. No salad bar. I wouldn’t say friendly service but straightforward and professional. The place itself was clean, organized and spacious. You couldn’t tell the inside from the outside. I would dine here again.

For a chinese buffet ayce experience, this is a good one. It was not cheap ($16 at the time I went) Since sushi is included, I think that price makes sense. The restaurant was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was right on top of cleaning up tables, and fresh food was constantly coming out. My only complaint is that some food was not ‘hot’ off the steam table as it should have been. Always a battle on a buffet, but not one you want to lose.

Food not the best quality, some being hard and cold, some being just fine. Limited selections, mostly meats. Need more vegetable. Only vegetable was zucchini, which happened to be very good. We were there about 7pm, with 4 adults in our party. Beverage service was attentive, but selections very limited. The black tea was good, would have preferred green tea. Didn’t have regular diet Pepsi, only Pepsi Zero, which was very good. Not many non Asian choices for our picky eater. Three chicken wings left in pan, one piece of cake left. Best choices were the sweet n sour chicken, imitation crab meat, mushrooms in gravy, rib pieces and the peanut butter chicken. The peppered chicken was hard and dry. The spring rolls were very dry, while the Rangoons were under cooked and doughy.
We were visiting friends in Shawano and thought we’d try this place so everyone would have choices. We’ve had much better. Food was excessively salty, was thirsty for hours afterwards. Hubby got diarrhea and had to make two bathroom stops on our way home. None of us will be returning. For our $70, we were not impressed.

Average buffet in a nice atmosphere. Cabbage was salty, shrimp in a seafood dish fell apart, not much flavor in the teriyaki chicken sticks. I did like the chicken broccoli because the broccoli was nice and fresh and crisp. I wish they refilled drinks for you.
