We stopped by for brunch to view their menu and dim sum. The taste was great, but the room was hot and a bit too stuffy for my liking.

Was there for dinner party and had King Crab and tones of seafood and lamb and fresh fish. This meal was fit for Emperor. Really nice decor as well, one of my favorite places for Lunch and Dim Sum but this dinner was phenomenal.

This is a Cantonese seafood restaurant. The overall experience was not that pleasant even though the service was decent. The place served authentic Chinese, however, it was far from being authentic Cantonese. Two typical dishes we ordered in Cantonese places, clam with black bean sauce and sliced conch, both were cold and lightly sauces. Crab and lobster in scallion ginger sauce was way too sweet, like a Shanghainese dish. The place was old and not well maintained. The plates and cups were chopped. They should do much better considering the price tag they put out. Overall, it was a below-average experience without consideration of the cost. Servers were pleasant and the service was attentive even when it was busy at times.

Emperor Seafood never disappoints, I have been here many, many times over the years. Each time when I am here, the service, food and ambiance is always great. I love their dim sums here. Cooked to order and no trolleys circling the entire restaurant. Service is fast and friendly. Music is played just right and not too overwhelming. Prepare to wait during the weekends as this place gets filled up pretty fast. Wait time ranges from 30-45 minutes for a table of 4, faster if you do not mind sharing tables. Menus are simple and quality of food served during dim sum and dinner is always exceptional.
For dinner, order the filet mignon with assorted vegetables, the popular lobster with ginger and scallions and the salt, snow pea shoots sautéed with garlic and the whole crispy garlic chicken. These are my personal favorites. They also offer private rooms for larger parties but there is a minimum that one has to spend. I had many parties in these well appointed private rooms. Parking is easy and if you spend more than $100 parking get validated in their designated parking garage.

This time we checked out thus dim sum spot that instantly caught my eye with its royal decor and gorgeous tableware.
The dim sum isn’t the best, but the quality is there. Just a heads-up: there are no dim sum carts, so everything is ordered from the menu.
Har kow won our approval with its plump and bouncy shrimps. My second favorite was pan-fried cheong fun with dried shrimp – we liked it so much that we had to order another round.
Pro tip: Save room for dessert—they’re worth it. Both the black sesame roll and osmanthus jelly were very lightly sweetened. I always get black sesame rolls at dim sum spots, and this one is my favorite so far for its subtle sweetness and rich, nutty flavor.
My relatives highly recommended the pumpkin and corn sage, so we ended up getting two.

The food was not bad and the service was good. The place is a bit crowded in my opinion.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are for. This is a good traditional cantonese place with decent prices. Staff is decent for a spot like this, food is on point. Great option in Flushing if you are looking for Cantonese.

Upstairs restaurant. Across from the municipal parking lot ️. Moderately clean facilities. Reasonably priced. Credit cards are accepted. Crowded on the weekends and under staffed. Good food. Tea cups have the traditional covers on them. Private rooms available. Give it a try and you decide.

Wow!! My first time here and I am so impressed by Emperor Seafood’s interior decoration and excellent service by their staff. Thumbs up to them as it is obvious that a lot of effort was put into it to ensure that customers feel like Emperor and Empress when they dine here. So many instaworthy pictures for posting.
This is the best dimsum I’ve had in Flushing serving many unique variations and don’t forget to order their Cantonese Style lunch specials which seems to be very popular amongst the customers. Within an hour of opening, the restaurant is already full (you can see the difference in the crowd size in my pictures ).

First time having dim sum here. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff were all friendly. Due to covid, no more servers pushing carts around. Instead there’s a sheet where you can check off what you want and they will bring it out to you using the carts. The turnip cake I had was at room temperature and could have been hotter, but all the other dishes were good. There is a $1 tea charge but this is typical of most dim sum places. Their teapots, dishes, and silverware are beautiful. The dim sum prices are also cheaper than other dim sum places as well. I had a very nice, elegant experience, and I would definitely come here again. Keep in mind I came here on a Monday afternoon, so atmosphere was probably more peaceful than the weekends. Also, they checked me for vaccination card. I showed them my Excelsior app, and the manager told the host that the app is authentic and more real than the hand-written card.
