I came from New Orleans to come try this place and everything that I tried was amazing. The empanadas were spectacular! The environment was very clean and brought good vibes. Outstanding authentic food and very good service. My server was very friendly and attentive. She was amazing at her job. See you again with some friends!

I finally know what a good empanada is supposed to taste like. Seriously, I have had empanadas and this was the best. Only took 50 years!!! All the food was excellent and we had a wonderful experience. We had passed EmpaTaco hundreds of times and we didn’t know what we missed.

Empataco is a must-visit in Covington! The Colombian platter, Cuban sandwich, and Empataco plate were packed with flavor and beautifully prepared. Service was friendly and fast—felt like dining with family. Can’t wait to go back!

We tried EmpaTaco for the first time, and loved it. Our server was very attentive gave great suggestions. The bandeja paisa was great, and plenty for two people. We also got the arepa sampler it was delicious!

I was the only person in the place and the girl was too busy talking to the cook to get my order and drink right. Also I ordered queso and they brought out a bowl of fried flower, like a roux. To be fair, the birria tacos were good.
