10, 10 & 10!!! I saw this place was recommended by our local foodie so I wanted to try it out. I drove all the way from Navarre last weekend and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! You walk it in & its nicely decorated & smells so good. The menu is small but so many choices. I asked the young lady what were the best & she recommended the Asian Dumpling & Beef Argentina with a side a cilantrolime sauce. My daughter wanted to try to Capesea aka pizza. It took less than 10 mins from walk in to order placed & I received the below little cute box. Their menu also includes drinks, coffees and desserts.
We got home & everything was delicious! The flavors were so rich and well combined. The lime cilantro sauce even went good with both. I only ate half of my two and the both warmed up well the next day.
Definitely add this place to your “must try” list, you won’t be disappointed ❤️

Empanola does not play small. This place is bold, loud in flavor, and proud of it. From the moment you walk in, you’re hit with vibrant colors, fun energy, and plenty of seating — plus a couple of tables outside if you’re feeling fancy and breezy.
They even have a display of the empanadas up front, so you know the size right away (spoiler: they understood the assignment ).
They offer 16+ kinds of empanadas, all coming out fresh, hot, and ready to ruin all other empanadas for you.
I tried the Yellow Curry (coconut milk, onions, curry, peanuts, ginger, and veggies) and the Chilean Beef (onions, ground beef, and chopped beef). Both were next-level delicious. Like… pause-mid-bite-and-rethink-your-life good.
And the sauces?? THREE of them. Each one better than the last. Not optional. Life-changing. Took those empanadas to a whole new planet of deliciousness.
They also serve breakfast empanadas, plus coffee and espresso drinks (because survival).
Final score: 10/10 – would happily cancel plans to eat here again.

And then I found Empanola.
It sits beside a gas station,
one of those unlikely places where hunger and surprise
shake hands.
From the outside, it whispers nothing.
Inside, it speaks in warmth—
Latin rhythms, soft light, the promise of comfort.
Empanadas.
Small moons of dough, folded with care.
I have known them in Mexico,
in Latin America,
on worn café tables where coffee cooled slowly
and strangers became friends.
Each one carried its own secret—
meat, vegetables, spice, memory.
Here, they are filled generously,
crispy on the outside, alive within.
They arrive heavy with flavor,
asking nothing more than your attention.
Carnivore or vegan, you will not leave untouched.

Pretty good little place. The empanadas are very filled in and flavorful. They are $6 a pop but to me, it was worth it. I wasn’t disappointed. They offer savory options as well as a couple sweet options. They do have a vegetarian friendly section in their menu. It will get messy eating it. Therefore, have your clean hands and some napkins ready to go (lol). It’s a finger licking good time.
Their Spanish latte is really good as well (white chocolate and coffee).

First time here and it won’t be the last! We had the guava and cheese, Mexican chorizo, Argentinian beef, and cheese and pepperoni and OMG! They were delicious! We also ordered a quesito and alfajor and those are AMAZING too. Coffee was on point too! Xiomara was very nice and attentive. The place is nicely decorated and clean. Si eres boricua date la vuelta!!

Fabulous! The empanadas were big, baked and tasty! I was unsure about whether they could master so many flavors, but i was wrong – I ordered 4 a they were all amazing! Great flavors, and they also have Puerto ricans treats including quesitos y flan.

Empandas were amazing. We tried 4 muffaletta, bacon and eggs, Chilean beef and pizza pepperoni. We will definitely be back. Next time I will try the dessert one. Nice atmosphere and the restrooms were clean with nice amenities from flushes, lotions and body sprays.
