I ordered a tray of empanadas for a party at my job. this place has been around for a while so I thought it would be good. I was honestly embarrassed and so disappointed by how bad it was. No flavor or love put into these empanadas. The beef tasted like right out of the package and cooked with maybe a little salt. Zero sofrito zero flavor. Lots of dough not enough filling but even so filling was not good. Everyone said they were not good. Do better guys put some love into it and some sofrito.

Had a great visit! Empanadas are seasoned well and delish, they even made a few fresh for me. While I was waiting, fresh Columbian coffee was offered. Very nice!

Today was my first time ordering and It was really good. I called for a delivery and didn’t know there was a $5 delivery fee, also the Large Yaroa is $8 not $7 as advertised in their menu. They also sent me a cheese empanada instead of the pizza one I ordered (or at least I’m hoping it was a mistake, and that’s not really their pizza empanada) Their food is flavorful and they have good customer service. The cheese capricho are my favorite and super delicious (no pic sorry, I ate it too fast lol)

HORRIBLE customer service! I order over the phone for pickup and I wanted beef with cheese and I was told ok and was rushed off the phone. I get there I pick it up, I brought back lunch for all my coworkers and we were all disappointed! Dry beef with no cheese. I call back VERY DISAPPOINTED and the girl argues with me! Talked over me! Wouldn’t let me speak and said her manger wasn’t there so there was nothing she could do and that when the manager gets in she will call me back. The place is run horribly I guess considering there is no manager or owner present. I’m highly disappointed! I was called back saying that I can only get a refund for the items I bring back! I’ve worked in restaurants for 15 years and we don’t ever say well give it back and u will get a credit! The only way we knew it was bad by starting to eat the food!!!! Go to mamas empandas in queens! Cheap cheap cheap , thats all I gotta say!

They got 2 stars because I love their empanadas and prices are reasonable but they lost 3 stars because the last 2 times I ordered I didn’t get the empanadas I ordered I got different empanadas even she marked the bag appropriately but still managed to mess up my order, that was very disappointing. They also lost a star because it bothers me that the front staff always put their hands in the bag to open the bag. Just use the tongs to open the bag it’s such a bad nasty habit because they touch everything and they lost a star because at my last visit they allowed people to go in without mask and right now during a pandemic that’s a huge no no for me.

I ordered food here on Sunday August 11th Around 8pm and I just want to say that the food was great as well as the customer service. Whoever made the Quipe this day knows what they are doing! Compliments to the chef! I also ordered cheese and chicken empanadas and Yaroa which were also great! Amazing job guys keep up the good work!

I’ve ordered from Empanadas Monumental twice already. I do enjoy their empanadas and will order from them again. The prices are very reasonable. Both times I ordered I got extra empanadas and placed them I’m the freezer. They freeze well and you can reheat them in an oven or air fryer.

I love to come here. I come all the way from Copiague. But today I didn’t like the experience. You should have people with better customer service working and not people that it’s just doing it for the money. La morenita que está trabajando hoy Sunday 7/17/2022 at 4:42pm she’s the worse.
