There is nothing more Latin American than an empanada. Empanadas are the ultimate comfort food growing up in South America.
From the Salteña: a beef empanada stuffed with hard boiled eggs, olives, and raisins that is carefully seasoned and fried or baked to perfection to our vegetarian empanadas, everything is made fresh.
An empanada is what you eat for mid morning snack, at lunch or for dinner. Empanadas are the perfect food at any time or occasion. Our empanadas are prepared with the freshest ingredients and seasoned to perfection.

EDÁ popped on my radar months ago because of instagram and I always wanted to go. Today I went and I’m so glad I did! I ordered a couple of empinadas and they were amazing! Highly recommend the Beef and Cheese. It was savory, flaky, and delicious!! Customer service was on point and the atmosphere was amazing. At $5 an empinada, you cannot go wrong with these flavors! Highly recommend trying them out!

10/10 experience! Everything was so good and the owners were so kind! I got a passion fruit matcha (which I highly recommend) and my husband got a taro milk tea with boba. The empanadas were amazing and authentic and I will definitely be back!!

Simply delicious! The empanadas here are some of the best I’ve ever tasted, and their desserts like the alfajor are super delightful. Honestly, this place is now my top spot in San Antonio!

Loved these empanadas!!! I got the potato & beef & chicken, so good!! If you’re from Cali & know about Porto’s, these might even top Porto’s!! Super cute inside, extremely delicious, & don’t forget about a dessert (I got a churro). Will definitely be returning!

I have to say that they have really good empanadas! The filling was great! I got one chicken and one beef! Both really good!! The atmosphere was super chick! Loved it! Very clean restrooms.
So far the best empanadas found in San Antonio!
The only thing, Slightly on the pricey side.

Went for lunch on Wednesday with a few co-workers. There was one other person eating there, but we were welcomed to a friendly smile. She gave us the breakdown of the different choices. I ended up getting Beef Saltena and Mango smoothie; along with a 3-pack of beef, Colombian beef, and Apple. The beef saltena was my favorite one followed by the Colombian beef was more of a corn empanada with a pulled meat. The chimichurri went perfectly with the empanadas and the Mango smoothie (without Boba) washed it all down. Will come back to this place for lunch again.

Spectacular!!. The empanadas were absolutely delicious — unique flavors, perfectly baked, full of flavor, and made with fresh ingredients. I tried all of them, and every single one exceeded my expectations. They were very well seasoned.
The place itself is beautiful and welcoming. I came all the way from Florida, and I would come back again and again without hesitation.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for as long as I can remember. I was doing some errands and so I finally decided to get some.
The firstly the empanadas I got were the ham and cheese, pepperoni and cheese, beef and cheese, chicken, chorizo/eggs and cheese, and chicken Salteña. I like to say my personal favorite was the beef and cheese. It had such a unique flavor and the seasoning they used blew my mind. The next one is the chicken one though very flavorful as well I just preferred the beef over this one but its very close. The chorizo and egg was good but I was picturing more of a Mexican style chorizo and egg taco but empanada form u was a bit disappointed. It was a little dry for me as well.
All in all I had a great experience and the food was better than expected. The pricing was also very reasonable. I will definitely be coming here again to try other flavors and if you’re in the area come check it out.
