First time going there I come from the East Coast . I most definitely know great Puerto Rican food . I was so excited . I have yet to go near the three empanadas because I do not want to be more disappointed . Let’s start with the yucca fries something simple very overpriced but I thought there might be quality….. Absolutely none. They were drenched in oil they were hollow inside and the portion was just extremely small . I threw them out . Now the mofongo which I was so excited for….. My whole order took a little longer I thought he was making it fresh so I didn’t have a problem . Once I ordered the food and opened up my entree … Complete disappointment. I’m not going to leave a book on this review but I will say this… The mofongo was Brown first of all not yellow. There was such an overpowering smell of garlic…. I love garlic so for me to say that there’s definitely something off. And just to finish it off… Completely drenched in oil. It took me more than a whole grocery Brown shopping bag to squeeze all the oil out . Disgusting . And at the end just looking at it I couldn’t find myself to eat it. So that is also in the garbage . Almost $40 of food completely wasted. I know where I won’t be going back too . And I also learned to read reviews before I show up****

OMG I was about to leave the parking lot and I said let me taste the chicken before I leave. Oh my God it’s the best Lord Jesus I can’t wait till I get home and tear this up. I was about to go next-door to the craving place and when I walked in there, it smelled like fish. I walked right back out and I said let me go next-door and see what this is about and when I tell you, y’all better go.

I’m absolutely taken back by the chicken empandada I just ate. I can say it has been a while since I have been to a Spanish restaurant and ate one that actually ate one that had flavor like I would make at home. This restaurant definitely needs to be at more than 3.6 stars. Absolutely incredible food

would put 0 stars if an option. I got 4 empanadas just to see when I arrived home they were completely dripping with oil and not cooked at all. The entire bag was drenched with excessive oil. I went back immediately and I was told no refunds and nothing was done to accommodate me for the horrible disgusting quality of food and waste of money. Do not go here you will be disappointed.

It’s okayyyyy. I was a little disappointed. Not too much business. I stopped for lunch to try the empandas. I heard they were good, but to me, they were just okay. I didn’t like the flavors it was seasoned with. Lil over fried for me too. Not much to say about there empandas. Maybe there entrees are better.

Coming out from church right next door to this place, my family and I decided to get lunch there. Although doors were open there was nobody inside. No one answered our hellos. Got really excited because I love a good empanada. Once inside a couple in front of me was ordering some entrees that looked really good. So instead of just getting a couple of beef empanadas I also ordered the yellow rice with the pork and sweet plantains. I was SOOOOOO disappointed with EVERYTHING! I believe the entree was from yesterday’s batch. The rice was hard and dried out and the pork was also dry and had hard edges with no flavor. The plantains were ice cold. Actually none of my food was hot and it was 12:00pm. And I don’t know what type of oil they fry the empanadas in but it gave me the nastiest after taste in my mouth. The seasoning wasn’t there either. This was NOT a good representation of authentic Latin food. For $16.99, I won’t be back. Sorry.
