They let you split pizzas for specialty toppings to get two flavors. I had the Gluten Free crust was well. The crust is amazing and they make it in house. I’ve had quite a few. This Detroit style us all you have been missing in pizza crusts. Crisp yet soft with just enough chew. You will not regret this splurge.
Ordered the Good Paulie pizza and added pepperoni (highly recommend). It came out hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. The crust was perfection. We also had the cheesy garlic bread as a starter and enjoyed a Hi-Wire Brewing IPA and a Garage Beer to wash it all down.
Honestly, the pizza was so good we ordered a second one to go before the final night of our concert trip. We’ll be back next time we’re in Nashville—this place is a must.
Even my husband that likes heat said it was hot! So keep that in mind if you get the VIP!
That said, I would’ve preferred to enjoy the evening without the awkward confrontation over a short-poured espresso martini. I brought it up kindly, hoping for a simple resolution, but was met with unnecessary defensiveness from the hostess (who seemed to be acting as manager). It was a small hiccup in an otherwise great night, but it did take away from the hospitality experience a bit.
Overall, I’d still recommend Emmy Squared for the food alone—it’s that good. Just hoping for a smoother customer service interaction next time.
This place has quickly become one of my favorite spots in town. The pizza is incredible — perfectly baked crust, rich sauce, and loaded with fresh toppings. You can really taste the quality in every bite.
But what surprised me most were the burgers and wings. The burgers are juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right — easily some of the best around. And the wings? Crispy on the outside, tender inside, and tossed in sauces that are spot on (the buffalo and garlic parmesan are my personal favorites).
The staff is always friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming — great for both a casual lunch or a night out with friends. Whether you’re craving pizza, a great burger, or some killer wings, this restaurant truly delivers on all fronts.
Highly recommend giving it a try — you won’t be disappointed!
