Walked to Emmett’s from South Wind Motel, which was a recommendation. So delicious! My daughter had the hot chocolate and banana bread. I had a Emmything sandwich and pistachio matcha. Everything was amazing, and the atmosphere was sweet.

We absolutely love Emmett’s. The staff is always friendly, the atmosphere is clean and inviting and they have a lot of outdoor seating which is so great. Whether you’re getting just a black coffee, a specialty drink, or a tea, you’re going to enjoy what they are serving up. The breakfast menu is small, but oh so delicious. I think they have one of my all time favorite breakfast burritos, it’s absolutely gigantic! Never had a bad experience here.

Busy but what do you expect on a Sunday morning-coffee was great, I had the salted maple latte with an extra shot and whole milk, wife had a chai with oat milk and we shared the breakfast burrito. We talked about how good the burrito was all the way home. We’ll def be back next week. The avocado was a nice touch.

First time there. Staff was great, super nice. Ordered the one hand sandwich and it was just egg, cheese, and dukes, not what the menu says online which was disappointing but I got it to go so ♀️. The matcha latte was delicious. I’m sure the ambience is usually cute but the shriveled philodendrons hanging over diners heads was all I could focus on while waiting. Perhaps I’ll give them another try when the weather is better. I have heard good things so today was probably an off day.

We tried this location because it’s closer to us, but I won’t be coming back. The Neil St. location is miles better in every way. Here, the portions are noticeably smaller! my oatmeal was literally half the size compared to Neil St location, yet the price is the same. They only provide to-go cups and packaging even for dining in, which feels inconvenient and a bit cheap. Even the “one-handed sandwich” wasn’t the same as what we’ve had before. Hopefully, management takes feedback like this seriously, because right now this spot doesn’t hold up to their other location!

I’ve been to Emmett’s twice now, once for a coffee and once for food. Both times the staff were incredibly friendly and patient with me while I figured out what I wanted! I recently got their Smooth as Butta Latte, which was so good! I feel like sometimes, local coffee is a hit or miss, but Emmett’s hits every time! The food is delicious and, in my opinion, reasonably priced. I only got a side of eggs and bacon, which was $8, but the amount of food was surprising. I thought for sure it would be smaller portions, but they definitely give you your bang for your buck. I definitely recommend coming here!

I’m sad because I was excited to check this place out but the seating is all high table seating and no low. The hot beverages we got to go are good. It seems really cute, but couldn’t enjoy the experience, unfortunately.
