The food was delicious and well priced. They have a nice selection for there own craft beers. You should be able to find something to fit your taste. My only complaint is that it is 45 minutes away from where I live. However, I hope to find my way back there one day!

We randomly discovered Emmett’s in downtown Palatine and keep coming back for one reason: Tiffany, behind the bar.

The food is good, though I do wish there were more clearly labeled gluten-free options. That said, Tiffany makes the experience easy — she takes the time to help adjust dishes so I can eat gluten free with confidence, which means a lot.

What really sets her apart is how she builds community. She remembers names, drinks, and details, but more importantly she genuinely cares about the people sitting at her bar. She connects guests to each other and somehow makes it feel like a modern-day Cheers where everyone belongs.

We’re not beer drinkers, even though Emmett’s is known for beer, but her cocktails are fantastic and she’ll happily create something custom if you’re in a different mood. My husband and I even joined the beer club thanks to the fun peer pressure of the regulars — and since we don’t drink beer, she served our water in the beer club mugs without missing a beat. It’s those thoughtful touches that keep us coming back week after week.

If you go, sit at the bar and say hello to Tiffany!

Brewery with indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent selection of beers available though not much for non alcoholic beer. Menu options are wide ranging, and the burger I had was excellent. Their daily specials can make your meal quite affordable. We’ll be back next week.

Met some friends on a Monday night since their Daily Special was half priced burgers.

Located in downtown Palatine near the train station, parking can be an issue. Luckily it was not too crowded and we found parking nearby. The restaurant was not very crowded and we were seated immediately.

They have a nice beer selection so I tried their Red Ale named the Vendetta. 6.3ABV. It was OK.

Their food menu is quite large but pricey. They do offer a gluten free menu and they have Daily Specials which they list on their Web site.

We started with an order of potato skins which were overcooked and dry.

I tried the Gaucho Burger that was supposed to have a Tajin seasoned steak burger ( I did not taste Tajin) ,Guacamole,Pico,Cheddar Cheese and Tortilla Strips. This burger was lacking in flavor. I asked for Medium Well and everyone’s burgers were overcooked. The Guacamole tasted store bought, the cheese was cold and not melted and the Tortilla Strips were stale. Thank goodness I only paid half of the normal 18.00 they charge.

I really had high hopes for this place but with so many brewpubs in the Northwest suburbs,I probably won’t go back.

Great experience all around. Attentive service (Jim). Good beer selection. Loved the stout and IPA. Delicious dinner. We had the salmon dinner, Rueben sandwich, and Cheddar soup. Best for us is they welcome well, behaved dogs on the patio.

The last 2 times I was there, not too happy with the food. My hamburger was not medium done. It was more on the rare side. Ate it, but did not enjoy it. Lady week my crispy chicken sandwich was “very” crispy. I would describe it as burnt. I was a little surprised that they would serve it. But I was with a friend, who was treating, so I didn’t complain. Didn’t want to embarrasse her. Will think twice about going there again.

We had a gathering here on 10/18. One of many stops on our way through west/east Dundee with friends and family.
We were met with hostility and lack of respect by the wait staff and the manager was just as defensive as the wait staff. We were scrutinized for having a big group, when i called the resturant two days prior to the visit and not to mention the staffs inability to account for open tabs in absurb. Oh and the cherry ontop- one of our guests has diabetes, instead of the waitstaff putting his order in for food they dragged their heels and fought with us over how many tabs our table has open.

Don’t come here!! If you do, you’re wasting your money.

Great experience. I had the Shrimp Boursin Pasta. Wow! Our group of 6 was all so happy with the food, presentation, and our server was on the ball. I will say that the portion, especially for pasta, was very small.
